A behind-the-scenes review of the computer effects needed to film the movie, including the CGI needed to create the bird inside the fountain, was posted to FX Guide on December 15th, 2011. To those asking if the bird is ok, it was a VFX shot detailed at the bottom of this page. They had a stuffed bird stand in and replaced it with a realistic one digitally.
