Most slide tackles go in with the feet, not the head. It would take a very brave defender to slide at a ball head first, being kicked in the skull would be a distinct possibility.

Not to mention that it's very not at all allowed. It might be acceptable for a goalkeeper, since they're the only ones allowed to put themselves in danger like this.

You're wrong. It's covered in "playing in a dangerous manner", Law 12 in the FIFA rule book. Here's what is says:

Playing in a dangerous manner is defined as as any action that, while trying to play the ball, threatens injury to someone (including the player himself)

False, it's down to interpretation and depends on each situation.

Firstly why would the goalkeeper be allowed to but no-one else, that's unfair advantage, also they could just pick it up anyway so it would be pointless.

Secondly, look at the countless times someone has been kicked in the head whilst attempting to head a ball away,DID THE PERSON THAT GOT KICKED IN THE HEAD GET A CARD?? OR DID THE PERSON THAT KICKED SOMEONES SKULL IN GET A CARD?

Use of the head is fine from the air or floor as long as you ain't tryna decimate someone (or yourself) IE; by tryna headbutt their foot, if you cleanly get the ball, ref can't say anything.

Also mate, I don't need to read the rules line by fucking line, I've been watching/playinmg football all my life, regardless only the first page loads on that link for some reason.

Uh, yeah, it's an unfair advantage. So is holding the ball with your hands. Both of those rules, by the way, only count in penalty box where the goalkeeper has loads of unfair advantages. A goalkeeper needs and exception to the rule because otherwise it would seriously hurt his ability of perform his role. They need to be able to slide in with their upper body first to try to catch the ball with their hands/arms.

If you bow down to about waist level to head the ball, you're the one putting yourself in danger and you are breaking the rules. If the other guy puts his feet above that, he's the one putting you in danger and he's breaking the rules.

Well, good for you pal - I am an actual semi-professional referee. If you want to find it, just google "playing in a dangerous manner" and all the results will be about it. I kind of thinks what the rules says are kind of important in a discussion about if somethings is against the rules.

I'm not sure what wan't to say with your links. None of those breaks any of the rules I've quoted. You're perfectly allowed to play with your face - but not in a situation where you put someone in danger by doing so.

Scissor kicks are covered by the same rule, for example. They're allowed, as far as you're not putting anyone in danger by doing it.
