That's fair. I guess as a disclaimer I should note that I'm generally kind of oblivious to men checking me out, so if I notice, it's usually because they're flat out staring. Which I don't appreciate. (Even if I was into them before, that's an immediate turn-off. Plus it's distracting.)

But a reflexive glance I'll almost never notice, and could just be a coincidence. I do wear some stylish necklaces.

      I agree. At first I thought "Well, I thought that was really funny and I'd totally date a guy who said that."

                  Okay the reason this is wrong, while a witty and amusing skit, is that being modest typically means you have to sacrifice comfort. When doing yoga or other physical activity, that can be a complete bitch.

                  Be a gentleman, don't do the tit leer at women when they're working out or doing yoga or whatever.

                          This is full of nope. First, wearing a low cut top does not mean she wanted men to stare. Women wear clothing on their behalf, not mens. She didn't put on a fucking sports bra to be ogled. She put on a fucking sports bra so she wouldn't be. Second, men are not biologically programmed to like breasts.                           I agree. Unfortunately, it's so historical it's hard to sometimes get away from. It's the same idea of burqas etc today / covering your ankles way back when, that women need to cover up because otherwise men wouldn't be able to help themselves.

                          It's kind of smart, if a man does lose control it means the blame is squarely with the woman. That doesn't fly so much anymore so all it does is make men appear weak.

                          It's here, in that post, it's in posts of women on reddit holding a puppy, it's in advice given to women going to bars or partys, it's in advice given to women after assaults, it's in defenses of rapists. It's everywhere, and it creates rape culture.

                          Please, start looking out for that sort of idea in your day to day life. Keep a note of any time a woman is asked what she was wearing when she was raped or even comments of reddit saying "look at what she was wearing! She wanted attention!". If you are aware of it, you'll see it everywhere.

                              If someone has a particuarly attractive face, or even the opposite, if they are ugly, or maybe have some kind of deformation making them unusual, people will often accidentally stare or glance at something visually unusual.

                              If a woman has unusually large breasts, or is exposing more of them than most people do (Which there is nothing wrong with) a similar thing happens.

                              It's not perversion, it's just eye-catching, as many things are.

                              The people that came to mind though, were the guys that go to the shops/fast-food places without a shirt, or that catch public transport doing the same. While I understand that women don't dress a certain way to garner attention, that doesn't mean there aren't guys that do - which probably goes some way toward explaining why many guys assume women want the attention. It mightn't be the case that all guys going shirtless want special attention, but some people will always assume it's done to seek attention.

                              Can you find me a link where breast size has no significance in heterosexual "first world" men? The only studies I can find show larger breasts="more attention" or boobs in general = "attractive" (a supple size being preferred, is still the generality)

                              The fact is men scan for boobs in countries such as the USA because it is what is "deemed" beautiful and a good reproductive trait to aim for in a mate. Reproduction is implanted in the DNA. So by technicality, I'd like to think that, that sociological trait could be intertwined into biological sexuality.

                              A sports bra is underwear, this would be the same as a man going to the gym in tight boxer briefs. A girl looking down to "to see what he is packing," then the guy calling her out.

                              Yes boobs are sometimes "nonsexual" things, in other cultures...where they have no clothes but, this video is in a first world country, based off of a first world country's ideas and culture.

I'm not attracted to breasts myself so I don't know if they're attractive while breastfeeding or not. I figured I had to include a picture of breasts actual purpose. That's interesting.

                              So what does wearing a low cut sports bra mean? The woman here seem to be leaving out the low cut part of the sports bra commentary.                               It is a goddamn bra. Bras aren't made to cover a lot. Every bra is a "low-cut" bra. Guess what!? It doesn't fucking matter why I chose to wear a low cut sports bra. I wear it because I like it and that does not mean men are aloud to ogle. That's all.

                              Oh and if you think coverage means support, you don't know how bras work.

                              It's a bra. It's underwear. I would get quite a few looks if I went galavanting about in my boxer-briefs. I don't want the attention though, so I don't.

                              Or compare it to those guys in the gym wearing t-shirts ripped open all the way down the sides, so they're basically wearing a couple of rags. They are wearing those because they want people to see the goods. They don't complain when they get some extra looks.

                              The guys who don't want to be ogled don't wear that stuff. It's a total prima donna dress up thing. There's plenty of other stuff to wear that is just as comfortable and won't attract any extra attention.

                                  Are there really any girls who object to having their tits glanced at? Seriously, unless the dude was ugly and creepy, nothing short of intense, unbroken eye contact with my boobs would bother me.
