    How is raising a golden? A buddy of mine just had 2 pups(4 days old),and offered me one. I had a shitzu when I was young , but it always shit everywhere.

    Golden's good dogs? My buddy also has a ...White fluffy dog. Not sure the breed.

    Be prepared to be constantly sweeping up hair filled tumbleweeds. Otherwise, awesome dogs! Temperament can't be beaten, and mine doesn't even bark until he thinks the kids are in danger.

          Have you ever seen a dog with no leash on a beach? It's basically the physical manifestation of pure joy. I just don't think people are physically capable of experiencing that level of happiness.

          In principle, I feel like I value intelligence and knowledge and am willing to sacrifice some happiness if it means being less ignorant. But there are times when I look at a really happy dog and just think "screw it, I don't care how stupid I'd have to be, I just want to feel like that."

            My old golden made friends with a mouse. We had a mouse in the house that was hiding in a little nook. My mom was trying to kill it (no real way of getting it outside alive) and my golden went and laid so she was blocking the nook. True story.
