I would have thought doing this would only make it really obvious that someone was shorter than average. They'll have a massive, bright blue bottom on their show. Normally, those who are a little shorter than average, if they feel it necessary can find more subtle ways of bridging the gap in height (e.g. heels, or thicker soles) without drawing attention to it.

Although, I can see this being an absolute blast once everyone's got a few drinks in them. Like Bambi on ice.
