I guess I was just coming from a public perception. I'm not a fan of rap in the slightest, but I still respect it and the culture. But I, like most of my small town redneck family, LOVE Willie Nelson. My family who would gladly mock at any rappers death, including Snoop, absolutely adore Willie.

Both these people represent very, VERY clashing cultures. That's more what I'm getting at.

I wouldn't say this is true for the majority of America. Being a music fan, I see these two as performers/entertainers before I would begin to categorize as different by the genre they play.

We're all a lot more similar than we are different. Snoop has an image of himself that is marketed to the mainstream. There's no doubt in my mind that he isn't really what that image portrays him as.
