Cat disappeared for three days. I went looking for her one afternoon and eventually heard her mewing from the tree tops high above. After a drunken climb to the top I promptly realize that not only have I been rather ambitious in my hasty ascent to save my feline but I now have to return back down one handed with a shitty kitty to boot. I called the non-emergency line yet they still sent 10 personnel between two trucks and an ambulance to save us from the canopy.

I guess you could say the way I negotiated that situation a real catastrophe.

I was under the impression that National Cat Day was sometime later in the year...this is more than the 15th cat-related post that's made it to the top 50 today. You do realize they're just selfish animals? And that we have become desensitized to the negative outcomes of human society? People seem to care too much about animals (that have no conscience, mind you). I get it...you grew up strangely. People picked on you, you had a psychological complex, you're not smart, you loved someone you couldn't have, you reached for empathy and were denied. Whatever it was, you became awkward and outreached to whoever could take you. But humans let you down, so you turned to animals. It's a fucking animal. We're carnivores. Who gives a flying shit? If evolution had its way, you would be the beastmaster and would be kicking ass. But in this day and age, animals were never meant to be domesticated. You're most likely doing their species harm for your own selfish reasons. You want to be loved.
