This is seriously really encouraging. Yeah, threats and violence are not the answer, but sometimes a little threat is needed. If I was that gay kid, I would probably feel a little better roaming the halls in school.

It's not so much a threat as it is the insinuation of a threat :P

I appreciate the emotional sentiment but responding to threats of violence with threats of violence is kind of counter productive.

it may be counter productive. but frankly I miss the days when the victim couldnt smack a kid and only face detention. I hated getting teased about wieght/acne/gay/sped. and frankly bringing it up with a teacher only made it worse.

oddly enough the people who teased me usually were small skinny little shits (napolean complex?). and the only thing that stopped it was in middle school when I finally socked the fucker.

What is wrong with violence?

[–]wischvic[S] 3 points4 points ago

I lived in a prominently Arab area and got made fun of/picked on for being white, once i sprouted up, and held my ground they stopped their shit. violence isn't the answer, but if it prevents someone you care about from forms of bullying/abuse, you're an ass for not using it..imo

If there's no other recourse. but I would hope that your options were exhausted.

As a bi-guy, I really don't care. Why should ANY people care? Does it affect me? No. Just a bunch of bible-thumpers trying to enforce their wills on us.
