Can I ask why you choose to be conservative?

To me it seems at odds with human nature in general. In some aspects I guess I'm conservative too. Conservative about wars, globalization and corporations influence on politics in general, but I doubt that's what you mean. :)

edit: so far 2 downvotes and no replies...kinda lame, I was hoping for an interesting conversation...
