Beware of trading scammers!

A subreddit for anything related to games (but not sports). "Related" means that posts must contain gaming-related content in the link/post body, not just a "forced" connection via the title or a caption added to the content.

"Generic" image macros/memes (where the character itself is not related to gaming) like Scumbag Steve, Good Guy Greg, etc. will be removed. Something that "reminds you of a game", or "looks like something from a game" is also not an appropriate submission.

Hey, there are two parties needed for this dance. One to deal out all this non innovation to prolongue a decade old system and the other party still rips it out of their greedy little fingers.

If people stopped buying these old ass systems and start to realize just how much cheaper a medium gaming PC is with better graphics than these grandpa thingies, games might look better today than the way they actually do.

Personally I like console gaming. I built a pc a few years back, and while I had a lot of fun with it, it was too much of a hassle, and just too expensive to keep upgrading. I like playing games, but I like doing other things too. I don't want to spend my time tinkering, trying to figure out what part of my system or which driver is making a game crash. I don't want to have to worry about having enough ram, or the latest greatest video card.

You may have the time and money for these things not to be an issue. To each his own!

Not if done right.

too expensive to keep upgrading

For example, my rig has not seen an update since Batman Arkham Asylum. Not Arkham City, Arkham Asylum.
And since then I am able to play any game I wanted in a quality at least on par with a console but with all the liberties a PC version comes with. BF3 in a nice quality with the gigantic maps for example.

So, if such a recent game can be played very well on a PC that has not been updated since Arkham Asylum came out, I don't think expensive is the right term to use. Especially if you can keep in mind that with sales like Steam has, you can save a lot on games instead of paying > 60 bucks for one.

That is true, though I bought a ps3 A few months after COD 4 came out, and have not had to do any upgrades. If it is a ps3 game it will work for me without worry. I do feel like I'm missing out on some quality gaming, but again, I have other concerns in life besides playing games.
