What a waste of Tim Hortons... god knows how long i have to stand in line just to get one donut

[–]DigitalSarcasm 0 points1 point ago

There is a timmies in my faculty building, i have to get up and walk about 20 feet ti get to it with a usual wait time of 2-5 minutes.

Eat your heart out.

[–]Chachoregard 2 points3 points ago

KALIMA!

[–]willscy 0 points1 point ago

how are you not obese. I would be obese.

[–]Indestructavincible 0 points1 point ago

Because Tim Hortons makes shitty donuts now. They used to be good, but since they are made elsewhere, frozen, then 'baked' at the stores, its really not very hard to avoid them.

[–]Lord_Nuke 1 point2 points ago

This. They still don't taste bad, but if you've had them before, there's no comparison.

[–]DigitalSarcasm 0 points1 point ago

I still eat a lot of them, the uni gym is across the road, i don't have an excuse to not go.

[–]shoffing 162 points163 points ago

God I hate this picture. What does teasing the police do to help further your cause?

[–]Juz16[S] 82 points83 points ago

It does nothing productive at all.

The only good this has done for anyone is the 200+ quadrupaling quintupling of link karma I have received from this image.

[–]hatdude 25 points26 points ago

For that, I give you no karma. BAD KARMA WHORE. BAD!

edit: No, I take it back. I was going to just not give you karma, but now I give you downvotes. You are everything that is wrong with reddit

[–]Juz16[S] -5 points-4 points ago

It's all right, I got 700+ other upvotes.

[–]KofOaks 6 points7 points ago

So you're racking up your imaginary points in hopes of being, one day, imaginarily popular?

[–]MonarchistSoldier 0 points1 point ago

WELCOME TO REDDIT!

Please, have a seat, enjoy yourself.

[–]Juz16[S] -1 points0 points ago

Pretty much.

[–]KofOaks 2 points3 points ago

Wouldn't it be nice if this would start a massive downvote trend?

[–]Juz16[S] -2 points-1 points ago

I'm surprised it hasn't, I broke the no OWS rule, made a repost, and said I was karma whoring.

[–]KofOaks 2 points3 points ago

I know eh?

[–]Juz16[S] -2 points-1 points ago

Whatever, if the ignorance of reddit's frontpage quintuples my total link karma, I'm fine with it.

[–]FifthSurprise 2 points3 points ago

Well, at least you are honest about it.

[–]Juz16[S] -1 points0 points ago

I know, I think this is a repost too.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points ago

well it helps the donut industry

[–]DaveNF 1 point2 points ago

And more profits for Tim Horton's.

[–]Flying_Burrito 17 points18 points ago

U.S. here, paying over 10k per year. I envy both of you.

[–]kkptjr 3 points4 points ago

Not sure if it's applicable in your case, but Canadian tuition never includes room/board or books, just courses and fees. (In a post a while back I found out, much to my surprise, that a lot of US tuition fees also include residence)

[–]Flying_Burrito 2 points3 points ago

Neither does mine. I pay around $5,000 a year for living due to the monopoly on housing around here.

[–][deleted] 13 points14 points ago

US here, paying 25k/year before any kind of aid.

[–]Its_What_I_Do 4 points5 points ago

Ha, lucky. Im at 50k AFTER aid. (Drexel)

[–]Thing-Thingy 19 points20 points ago

I found it humorous that they were hanging donuts in front of cops.

[–]ZDragon 13 points14 points ago

Thanks for getting back on topic.

[–]dag96 -1 points0 points ago

I am also receiving the Drexel Shaft.

[–]Wazqaz 5 points6 points ago

And you know why? Because Quebec has the highest taxes in the whole canada, which are supposed to pay for most of the educational fees.

[–]darkstar3333 0 points1 point ago

They also have the highest debt and most expensive social programs in Canada (twice as many social servants then any other province) showing that simply having high taxes might not simply "pay for everything".

[–]Smurftra 1 point2 points ago

Exactly why the protest went from being about the tuition fees to being about getting rid of the corrupt elements of the government.

[–]darkstar3333 2 points3 points ago

Really? Because there doesn't seem to be any unified message at all. It doesn't help that these sorts of protests have been happening every 4 years since 1985.

Without proper leadership a protest like this will not provide the effective message that it needs to.

If the protest has effective leadership in communication with the news avenues they not be writing articles based on interpretation of the issues.

[–]Wazqaz 0 points1 point ago

There will probably never be an article written (I'm talking about the journals, blogs or other kinds are not counted in this) that will say something going in the other way of what the governement wants to be said, because most of the companies that own those journals are governemental. For example, Journal de Montréal, which is controled by Quebecor.

For the un-unified message, I have to say you are right on that. For some it's only the fact that they are augmenting the school fees. For others, I bet there is some like this, it's only ''Haha I'm tired of school, lets vote yes so I can miss some''. But for most (I would think) and I, it's as if the governement, with all the corruption and the money from our taxes that are wasted, instead of dealing with the fact that money is wasted, they ask for more. So we pay more for the money that we should already have paid. That, is I guess, the most important reason. But I guess most of the people don't see it like that.

[–]Marcalogy 2 points3 points ago

I live in Québec, go to school in Ontario and because I have good grades, I recieved bursaries that pay half of my tuition. It will have cost me about the same thing to go in a Québec University cause the loans and bursaries program of this province sucks more than a Thai whore.

So yeah, maybe the tuition are higher in Ontario than they are in Québec, but at least, they help the students that deserves it.

[–]pasmeme 0 points1 point ago

OSAP is the tit for almost everyone I know.

[–]tgrdem 6 points7 points ago

You know what, they're actually fighting. The rest of the world needs to take a lesson from it. They're mad they have to pay more and they pay nearly a fourth I do. WHY IS NO ONE HERE FIGHTING?! D< I hope it spreads.

[–]mikeajblack 6 points7 points ago

They protest. You don't. They pay lower tuition than you do. Cause, meet effect.

[–]CecilThunder 1 point2 points ago

Dont even bother man. Reddit has made up its mind on this one. Folks seem to think money grows on trees around here lately.

[–]Smurftra 3 points4 points ago

Obviously you are misinformed. Your taxes are lower, your salaries are higher. When you factor all that in, we pay about the same. But keep taking your news from the propaganda machines.

[edit: I do not agree with the donut thing. Also, the protest have changed, they are not about the fees anymore, but about the new law which is not legal with the canadian bill of rights.]

[other edit: Its (or was) a canadian value that education should be cheap or free, its not our problem if you did not protest when you got buttfucked.]

[–]Starlos 2 points3 points ago

Man I totally understand you ! I mean, just think of all the women bitching here about getting hit a couple of times a day ! I mean cmon, it's not even that bad. In other countries they would stone those bitches to death for just talking in an inappropriate time. Those girls shouldn't even be saying a fucking word.

PS: It was entirely satirical and I only said that to show the obvious logical fallacy of his argument.

[–]mems_account -2 points-1 points ago

I PAY ALOT OF MONEY SO THEY SHOULD TOO! HURR DURR!

[–]nomogoodnames 3 points4 points ago

Just because you want to use it, doesn't mean you should.

[–]marzzvolta 0 points1 point ago

They have lower tuition there because they do theses kind of protests.... Are you upset about the cost of your education? you should be because it is ridiculously high, and you should start protesting too!

[–]braided_butt_hair 19 points20 points ago

These people are not witty, they are annoying

[–]Feltron 7 points8 points ago

If I were one of those officers I'd just say fuck it and eat one. As one of the ass hat protesters what is even your response to that? "Lol hes eating our bait...oh wait we just gave him a delicious snack." Though now that I'm thinking about it, it is on a string so they may yank it away when I lean in. Either be sneaky or mace one of the fuckers and steal the pastry...I would make an awful cop.

[–]azimir 2 points3 points ago

Mmmmm... spicy donuts. Nothing quite like glaze and mace flavor.

[–]asnof 2 points3 points ago

But as a policeman in such a public place there is no way to tell if it has been poisoned. Its such a big setting that if a person did poison one he probably wouldnt get caught.

[–]RainDancingChief -1 points0 points ago

I feel the same way, I'm definitely too short tempered to put up with that kind of stuff

[–]Cptnwalrus 16 points17 points ago

Really nothing, Quebec is being immature about this whole thing in the first place, so it almost seems fitting for them to act like this.

[–]zarilix 1 point2 points ago

Trust me I live there and I feel ashamed for the whole province because of them assholes

[–]teaeyepea 0 points1 point ago

Well they had to do something with all those doughnuts they purchased while stimulating the economy.

[–]ButterThatBacon 0 points1 point ago

[–]feelixxx 13 points14 points ago

More like welcome back to a repost, with a watermark.

[–]samlauk 10 points11 points ago

sorry, but this is like the 58th time i've seen this in the last 2 weeks

[–]CellyAllDay 3 points4 points ago

Pro Tip: Wait at least a month before submitting a repost. Karma is gained in a larger mass that way.

[–]RockingDoll 3 points4 points ago

Honestly, the major issue I see in this photo is a lack of civility. This just seems like a really low road to take. I'm not picking sides on this issue, as I am not a student. But as an outsider looking in, this makes one side look bad and it's not the police. Victimizing a group will seldom yield a positive result.

[–]danoll 3 points4 points ago

Do you want ants? Because that's how you get ants.

[–]mikesanerd 54 points55 points ago

you can tell it's not the US on account of how the police aren't beating the shit out of them

[–]Catalyst6 28 points29 points ago

Also, the protesters are using a stupid joke to protest instead of acting like a mob of violent hoods.

[–]ndrew452 51 points52 points ago

True, it takes a hockey team losing the Stanley Cup to turn Canadians violent.

[–]whirbl 27 points28 points ago

We even riot when we win.

[–]Sicarium 11 points12 points ago

sigh upvote upvote upvote upvote

[–]pasmeme -1 points0 points ago

Don't you remember the twitter protest??

[–]Common_Man 8 points9 points ago

Not sure if he's proud of it or ashamed of it.

[–]littleson912 11 points12 points ago

This is a picture of Canadians acting like immature pricks.

I love how somehow people are always butthurt enough to find a way to take a shot at America, lest we forget America is literally Hitler.

[–]darkscream 0 points1 point ago

I dunno, looks pretty civil to me. Should they be breaking some windows or getting pepper sprayed or something?

[–]littleson912 1 point2 points ago

You can look civil and be an immature prick, not sure what you're missing. Let's not put a spin on what I said.

[–]Subduction 4 points5 points ago

I'm an American and I want to beat the shit out of them for being an embarrassment to effective activism.

[–]Smurftra 1 point2 points ago

In that picture. But the police did beat the shit out of people (some are now paralyzed, handicapped, lost eyes, etc)

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point ago

Lost eyes? Shit, those police sure do know how to lay down the law... as well as protesters...

[–]Smurftra 0 points1 point ago

"On March 7, 2012, during a sit-in demonstration in front of the Loto-Québec head office, a demonstrator lost an eye when a flash-bang grenade thrown by police exploded in his face."

What they don't say is the police officer was barely 3 feet away from the guy and aimed at his face.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point ago

Jesus Cockfighting Christ. That shit is ridiculous.

[–]SirWinacus 2 points3 points ago

Does "Bait the cops" ring a bell? This was posted 3 days ago.

[–]Iamspamable 2 points3 points ago

It's upsetting that people take this picture to then generalize about the cause. Just because a dozen immature students decide they want to taunt police officers it should not make the great majority of the students look like fools. For exemple, a trend has been started so that every person protesting was to sit down as soon as violence started, showing how they're against such acts (you can guess only the few dumb people enough to wanna fight cops remained standing up among anarchists and most possibly agitators, police officers that infiltrate the movement to basically start shit up). Sadly, the media obviously only has their cameras aimed up at all the stupid crap.

[–]Creiz 44 points45 points ago

It's incredibly sad. Those assholes are thinking they're smart. Yet when shit happens, they're the first to call the police for help.

I'm against police brutality, but when I see something like that, I wish that the police lose their shit and start beating some sense into these goddamn fuckers. Hypocrites, all of these single wanking dipshits, donut-on-a-pole wearing, brainless deadmeats.

That's not even protesting, that's going out of the way looking for trouble.

[–][deleted] 32 points33 points ago

Agreed, the cops are just doing their jobs and have been pretty restrained through the whole thing considering. If they wanted to make a statement they should dangle dollar bills in front of corrupt politicians.

[–]Creiz 16 points17 points ago

That is something I could see myself backing up. It's relevant, universally understood and it gives a clear message.

Donuts and police is just insult to injury.

[–]mikeajblack 4 points5 points ago

The dollar bill idea needs to happen! That's too perfect!

[–]ErrantWhimsy -1 points0 points ago

Shockingly, politicians and police are both human.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point ago

Says here in my dictionary: "Politician: see reptile"

[–][deleted] ago

[deleted]

[–]SomeGuyInOttawa 1 point2 points ago

In this case it is students protesting tuition hikes.

[–]ErrantWhimsy 1 point2 points ago

Protest the tuition hike, but then pay it anyway. Success!

[–]redlinezo6 -5 points-4 points ago

Except that the occupy protests have nothing to do with hating cops...

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point ago

Honestly, they had nothing to do with -anything-. No organization whatsoever.

[–]redlinezo6 0 points1 point ago

Yes. Accurate.

[–]i_vonne_gut_wit_u 5 points6 points ago

montrealer here... this picture is at least a month old and it was in direct response to a newspaper discovering there were undercover cop (dressed as a plain-clothed citizens) starting vandalism and instigating violence meanwhile pretending to be protesters... this is what the whole struggle is about... the government trying to manipulate public opinion to make the ones protesting look bad. It's not about the cops, the protesters were mocking how they were being baited by the corrupt provincial government. it's late but i'll find sources if necessary

[–]Lots42 0 points1 point ago

Why can't it be Canadian. So the Quebec government has their own way of doing thing,s but I love how stubborn the frogs are. French Canada is just as awesome as the best parts of Canada.

[–]Tokthor 3 points4 points ago

Piece of advice, don't say frog to a French Canadian. It can be considered very insulting.

[–]Baycon 2 points3 points ago

They actually love it.

[–]kdawggg 1 point2 points ago

I swear I saw this picture on reddit like a month ago.

[–]statusone 1 point2 points ago

Donut jockeys are still pussies. Man enough to wave a donut in front of a cop, bitch enough to cover your face.

[–]shugr2th 1 point2 points ago

Jesus Christ, I've seen this picture at least two other times this month.

[–]ToffeVonW 5 points6 points ago

Are they protesting for more money?

[–]K_cribs 3 points4 points ago

I don't think they got the South Park reference.

[–]ToffeVonW 0 points1 point ago

No they didn't...

[–]Juz16[S] 2 points3 points ago

I think it's something about tuition.

[–]GophaKyorselv 3 points4 points ago

Quebec students have had a long history of protesting tuition increases as fees have steadily climbed from $500 in 1990 to the proposed $3,793 fee.

Not to trivialize their movement, I agree with the sentiment, but Jeez, ours goes up that much a year.

[–]kinboyatuwo 0 points1 point ago

Totally agree. They have by far the lowest tuition. Even with the increases they are in the middle. Lost cause

[–]WaitingForClients 5 points6 points ago

We are also twice as taxed.

[–]darkstar3333 1 point2 points ago

Yes but those high taxes also pay for a wide array of other things, like the 80%+ subsidy already on tuition.

This is why simply increasing the taxes to cover the shortfall is no longer working. Your high taxes ultimately represent a bottom line figure and that figure has been exhausted.

At the current rate Quebec's spending is unsustainable and the money needs to come from somewhere.

[–]Smurftra 0 points1 point ago

But the idea is not to increase the taxes. The idea is to better manage the money that is already there, get rid of the corruption, and if need be, get money from the corporations that are raping the land and making our corrupt officials rich.

[–]darkstar3333 0 points1 point ago

Increasing efficiency is way to cover the shortfall so lets put that point on paper.

Protests need a distinct message, constantly changing your message and making allegations without any facts is not going to get you anywhere. Its creates the appearance of complaining rather then providing constructive criticism based on facts.

There are access to informational procedures that can be made, have some of those students pounding away at those documents to see if efficiencies can actually be performed.

So lets say 25% of the total cost could be made up by improving efficiencies? Do you think the students would pay the remaining 75% when backed up with factual numbers?

[–]mikeajblack 0 points1 point ago

One province protests more/pays less tuition. Other protests less/pays more tuition. hmmmm

[–]theglace -4 points-3 points ago

Protest against it. How can you expect it not to go up if you just hang your head and say "okay, sir"?

[–]Bainemo 4 points5 points ago

I have the same attitude about gas prices, because I am a deluded 20 year old who thinks inflation can be stopped by the power of whining

[–]SomeGuyInOttawa 0 points1 point ago

Here is how I've heard it described: It is a generational thing going on. The students are going to have to pay much higher tuition and a lifetime of higher taxes because the baby-boom generation has run up huge debts through deficit spending in the last 50 years.

I'm thinking they should just bide their time, infiltrate the political parties and work the system until 10-15 years from now when they rise to power in the government - then they can cut all support programs for seniors, raise their taxes and make the old bastards pay their own fucking bills.

[–]Thatsnotgonewell 0 points1 point ago

I'm not really for cutting seniors off from medical/financial support but I think this movement is coming. There's a lot of smart kids fresh out of school with no jobs that are increasingly active politically. Maybe my view is biased but it does seem like the young people are bearing the majority of this burden right now while the elderly that helped create it see no cuts.

[–]JohnF_Kentucky 0 points1 point ago

That is so well said!

[–]darkstar3333 0 points1 point ago

Generational income disparity should be what they should be protesting but the marches seem focused on the tuition issue.

The truth of the matter is that things that make up education (facilities, services, personnel) are more expensive then they were in the past and that money needs to come from somewhere.

You need leadership to promote solid social change, hanging donuts in-front of cops is not the correct way to portray your message.

[–]KlippiesEnCoke -3 points-2 points ago

they're protesting because they enjoy protesting. i have friends that joine some protests because its fun. in reality most of them are criminals looking for a good time at the provinces expense. if they really had a cause they wouldn't be breaking windows or burning cars and yet the radio believes they can call it "civil disobedience".

[–]Baycon 2 points3 points ago

I hate that you're getting downvoted. They aren't all protesting because they enjoy it, but I know for damn sure a chunk of them are.

[–]xeronak 4 points5 points ago

Man, you guys are hating on those protesters hardcore. They're just having a laugh with donuts on strings, and you advocate the police beating them down? Fuck you. Really, maybe if you actually stood up for your rights for once your country wouldnt be the horrible shithole that it is now. How dare you get mad at Quebec students for fighting for what they believe in? By giving an inch here and there, you end up with terrible tuition fees that really hinder upwards social mobility. Personal debt is not the solution to post-secondary education financing. Maybe this idea is really foreign to all of you, but an educated workforce as a real investment to any modern state. Yes Quebec pays a lot less for tuition than the rest of america, but they still pay more than in Europe. That's because they fight to keep it that way, maybe you should give it a try.

[–]yellow_dwarf 1 point2 points ago

Your post make me want to immigrate to Quebec even more now!

[–]xeronak 0 points1 point ago

Quebec is a great province and people are super friendly. You're more than welcome to come here!

[–]Loopyprawn 5 points6 points ago

These are the same douchebags that will cry foul when they get a face full of pepper spray.

[–]CherenkovBlue 31 points32 points ago

so spraying someone in the face with chemicals is a proportionate response to someone dangling pastry at you?

[–]mikeajblack -1 points0 points ago

Mace seems like a perfectly sensible response to a dangling donut - If you're a fucking idiot.

[–]Bainemo -3 points-2 points ago

So you just want everyone who disagrees with you to die? You want them all set on fire? Is that what you're saying?

I know it's not, but if you're going to do it I am too

[–]mattumbo 1 point2 points ago

they'll all be apologizing to each other tomorrow, damn Canadians.

The protest is stupid, worthless, waste of students' times as well as tuition and taxpayer money. Tuition in Québec was $540 in 1968. if we adjust that for inflation over the last 45 years, we find that the proposed gradual increase from the current $2,168 to $3,793 doesn't even account for the projected inflation in 2017 (when the full tuition-hike will be in effect). Meanwhile, students who decide not to engage in protests are being fucked over by the schools because they aren't able to take their exams and will be held over to next semester in some cases. Damn Shame.

Edit: fucked up an accent

[–]fr00bl3t -1 points0 points ago

Have you tried to work and study at the same time? Because life takes a little bit more than the 4k tuition for one semester.

[–]Baycon 0 points1 point ago

This is an issue with the system in general. It's expected of our youth to go directly to University after high school (CEGEP in this case...which is a joke btw). Why isn't it acceptable for them to work for 12 -20 months prior in order to set up a study fund. You can then work part time to pay tuition, while focusing on your studies.

[–]darkstar3333 0 points1 point ago

You can't make 8K per year? There are lots of people who live paycheck to paycheck to cover living expenses.

You dont get a free pass on life because your a student.

FT School + PT Work is really not that hard

As a matter of fact, I have, and for a much lower hourly wage than $9.90/hr. (Québec's current minimum wage for non-tipping employment). Cost for tuition in Québec is not 4K a semester, it will be 4K a year. if you can't hold down a semi part time job over the school year, you could easily make more than enough over the course of a full-time job in the summer.

Poker faces. Poker faces everywhere.

Why is that one cop checking out that bus stop??

[–]Plyerslyer33 0 points1 point ago

I would introduce those assholes to my billy club

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point ago

I'd only be okay with this in the US if black people were doing it.

[–]GTi_83 0 points1 point ago

i hate this picture for a different reason, because in the past 2 weeks i have seen it 8 times posted by different people. repost downvote.

[–]Lan777 0 points1 point ago

Why does Canada have all the best publicmdisplays? Why Dont american public displays have as much nudity or cleverness?

[–]jackwoww 0 points1 point ago

Wait til the playoffs start up again on Wednesday and the streets will be empty.

[–]FreshFruitCup 0 points1 point ago

What does timmy think of this?

[–]guywithblackcamera 0 points1 point ago

Homer Simpson would take all the donuts

[–]ckb614 0 points1 point ago

Even the comments are reposts...

[–]Ccomp5950 0 points1 point ago

Hey, beat those guys! They are handing out donuts without a food purveyors license or health inspection!

Police proceed to put crowd of people into comas

[–]DangerMouseToby 0 points1 point ago

Bet all the people doing this would still call the police if they needed help in an emergency.

[–]ChemicalOC 0 points1 point ago

I spent a summer in Toronto a few years ago, and the cops there were great, really friendly and helpful. I lost my passport on a night out and a cop brought it to my house the next day as it had my address on it. Sound Lad.

[–]Tokestra420 0 points1 point ago

That's how we do it. We fuck shit up and be funny at the same time, it's called multitasking bitches.

[–]siamthailand 0 points1 point ago

How can anyone support this? This kind of provocation is wrong and I hope they get their asses kicked for this.

[–]FredRollinHigh 0 points1 point ago

the policeman near the phone booth : "Is that a maple syrup glazed donut ? looks yummy."

[–]apollo580 0 points1 point ago

WOAH easy there, chocolate dip is the best kind. Aye

[–]Geobomb1254 0 points1 point ago

Does anyone else think this guy's a karma-whore.

[–]Lots42 0 points1 point ago

Cop on far left; his expression is priceless.

[–]jvflagg 0 points1 point ago

Those look like dangerous terrorist weapons. Hope they don't get maced.

[–]Willmcdougal 1 point2 points ago

people from quebec are no true scotsmen canadiens.

[–]oligerm 0 points1 point ago

Given that the people of Québec were called Canadiens for more than 300 years before the creation of the Dominion, I'd argue that it is the people from the ROC that aren't "true canadians". :P

Then again, I noticed you used the word "Canadiens", so maybe I didn't understand the joke!

[–]Willmcdougal 0 points1 point ago

I was joking everyone who claims that canada is perfect, then claims that quebec isn't "really" canada. It's a bit of a no true scotsman fallacy... I don't think many people got the joke.

[–]B-bifford -2 points-1 points ago

Give a French Canadian anything to complain about and you will never here the end of it.

[–]finanseer 0 points1 point ago

Being from Qc originally, this is 100% true.

[–]MPSDragline 0 points1 point ago

Guys, you're doin it all wrong. It's gotta be white powered donuts!

Ohh stereotypes...

[–]Ragnalypse 0 points1 point ago

White Powdered! White Powdered! White Powdered!

[–]tiyx 0 points1 point ago

If I were one of those cops I would eat the free meal. Anyways I like donuts.

[–]panders2reddit -1 points0 points ago

A donut is not a meal.

[–]tiyx -1 points0 points ago

it is when your poor, or just hungry and have nothing else.

[–]grabondall -1 points0 points ago

Nice try, Bell marketing team.

[–]venividivixi -2 points-1 points ago

Which came first, the cops or the doughnuts?

[–]sbsb27 -1 points0 points ago

O Canada!

[–]shepherd62 -1 points0 points ago

Someone care to give me (an American ) a back story to this?

[–]Brodelay -1 points0 points ago

Oh my godd you guys still have phone booths doesn't everyone have cellphones? Welcome to the 21st AMERICAN century Canadia

[–]mickey_kneecaps -1 points0 points ago

If I were one of those cops, I would have a little chuckle to myself before I shoved one of those donuts down a "protestors" throat.

[–]Cysanic -1 points0 points ago

I think it should be a rule of thumb that if you taunt a police officer in such a way that he/she finds it irritable, they have permission to beat the shit out of you.

[–]xeronak 0 points1 point ago

Yes because police officers as a whole should be given arbitrary powers to beat down anybody they disagree with. What are you, 15 year old? Get educated, maybe then you won't spout off retarded stuff like this. I know you get a large boner off peaceful protesters getting beat up and this is despicable.

[–]Cysanic -1 points0 points ago

20 year old, and I don't like protesters. Sure, they can protest their point, but as soon as they taunt and make fun of the police, the tables should turn. Hell, if I were a cop and some dorky-glasses wearing, skinny-jeaned hipster kid dangled a donut in my face while making pig squeals, I'd deck the cunt in an instant.

[–]lovelovehatehate -1 points0 points ago

WHY AREN'T ANY OF THOSE PROTESTERS GETTING PEPPER SPRAYED? as an american i'm very confused right now.
