Yes, it's cool. Do yourself a favor, and learn a little about its original inventor, Dr. Claude Shannon. Shannon is the father of information theory, and without his work, high-speed digital communication would not have happened. Heck, one could argue we wouldn't have digital computers without his work. In his spare time, he juggled, unicycled, and made interesting inventions, such as this one, a juggling robot, a rubik's cube-solving robot and a gasoline powered pogo stick, just to name a few.
