I'm a psychologist and I can confirm that orange arrows are DSM V as a cure for a couple tough months. I'm not sure how many orange arrows are needed to cure a few though, this might be more than Reddit can handle.

Karma is infinite and worthless. It is to my observation that if this post is sad for karma mongering than you my friend are sadder than this post for caring and pointing it out. No one cares. Just give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe it IS possible his friend left his account logged in and is not having a good day, just upvote and move on. Or don't. Doesn't really matter does it.

um, not fake, but I am actually less upset, there is a number of reasons this made me happy, the picture, the fact that my friend went to the effort to make this post, and even the conspiracy aspect of the post, and trying to demonstrate that I am in fact not a karma whore. but I appreciate the concern for the site's behalf, reposts are no joking matter.

What? I'm assuming that his friend left himself logged in to Reddit. OP found a random picture that he thought Reddit would like, and encouraged people to upvote it so his friend, who is going through a rough time, would have a surprise of all the sudden karma and have his day brightened a little.

Sounds pretty cool to me. Nowhere did OP say this was his own picture.
