Japanese people tend to have more oval shaped faces and higher, wider eyes. Koreans tend to have flatter faces, and smaller eyes.

As an asian, i can tell the difference between a taiwanese, a chinese, a korean, a japanese, a thai, a cambodian, etc. with great accuracy

But I cant tell the different makes of white people, like the germans, the dutch, the slavic, etc.

There is no secret to tell, it's just that different cultures look at different features of the face to differentiate each other. that is why we find it difficult to differentiate those who are not part of our own culture

GREAT REMINDER! Japanese people are generally happier, they have their awesome manga and anime, so their eyes and slanted UPWARD.

Koreans are more like meh, they have Starcraft, but north Korea is being a bitch, so their eyes are slanted HORIZONTALLY.

Now Chinese people have communism and less going in in the terms of free thinking, so their eyes are slanted DOWN.

(excuse some minor racism, but that's the breaks.)
