That means she was cheating.

[–]NotMahChair[S] 3 points4 points ago

Nah. We've been over for a few months and she dated a few guys before this one. Another thing, she deployed to Afghanistan today. I'm eating popcorn and watching this shitstorm unfold.

You are making a wise choice my redditor friend.

She dates "a few" guys in a month after a breakup, then gets engaged to another guy?

Dude your ex is grade A slut.

[–]NotMahChair[S] 0 points1 point ago

Perhaps, but I know that she never even met the first guy after me she dated. She met him on Facebook during her training for the Army and that fell through before they could meet. And that the second dude she dated only wanted sex, so she ended that too. I think she's just one of those types that can't be single and needs a guy to define her because she can't define herself.

Same situation once, same reaction.

No joke dude. I knew she was a little crazy, but I didn't know she was this bad. I lucked out when she left. Saved me a bunch of trouble.

Felt the same way when my boyfriend of 2 years got engaged only 3 months after breaking up.

Its been 3 months for me too. My ex never had much in the way of common sense. Haha

I had moved on as well but I'm no where near getting engaged!

Oh god, getting married is the farthest thing from my mind. I'm about to join the Air Force and I've seen too many military marriage horror stories to tie the knot while I'm in.

His new fiancé is in the air force as well. I'm happy for them but it's still weird.

Before I clicked, I said, "When that happened to me, I thought I dodged a bullet". So much simpatico!

[–]NotMahChair[S] 0 points1 point ago

Haha Yeah I was laughing for quite a while when a mutual friend of ours told me about it.

Yep, I consider these stories more uplifting, satisfying, and remarkable than all those, "My grandma had tickets for the Titanic, but lost them and..."

I've had this exact thing happen to me. :/
