I don't honestly see how that isn't more politically correct. Ideally I think we should change calendars but it is not my choice to make and for the sake of simplicity, a Calendar change may be too overwhelming for many.

However, I do believe the use of CE and BCE is more PC as it is closer to being a secular statement in comparison to the AD and BC counterparts.

In other words, I'm switching to Stardate.

Actually, yes, I am a little bummed out. :D The lack of an explicitly singular version of "you," such as thou, is such a simple thing to correct that can in a few cases make understanding much easier. We see this behavior in other languages with tu/vous and du/ihr, and it's a little sad to think we once had the word but it has now--as you said--fallen by the wayside.
