My mom taught me this many years ago, and my grandmother has a little better system. Fold everything together, top sheet, fitted sheet and put in all inside the pillow case. This way you never lose a piece of the puzzle. The first time I folded a fitted sheet in front of my girlfriend she was shocked "how did you do that!" I was even more surprised that she didn't know how.

So, I just tried this. I was holding the sheet like #1 and then couldn't figure out what #2 was showing, so i improvised, just folding any two corners together I could muster up. I'm proud of myself for making it to #2.

Easier: Remove fitted sheet from bed and launder. Remove fitted sheet from dryer and rush back to the bedroom. Install fitted sheet, smoothing wrinkles toward edges. Done.

When fitted sheet fails, buy new one, repeat as necessary.

I don't know why everyone has so much trouble with this. I saw this pic and immediately went and got a fitted sheet, put the corners inside of each other and folded that bitch, first try. I didn't even have a plan going into it. I just folded it and it worked with like 0 effort.
