As funny as that looks, that is incredible defense. Muthafucka got up and was ready for a third. Extra oranges at halftime for him.

[–]Mzklvr6 173 points174 points ago

Agreed, but he should still probably learn to block with something other than his face. Can't go through life like that, kid.

[–]Kage7 124 points125 points ago

It takes what it takes.

[–]CoolHeadedLogician 31 points32 points ago

that's actually pretty inspiring

[–]yousirnaime 10 points11 points ago

I mean, we did watch Radio and Forest Gump... I'd pay $13 to hear this kids story.

[–]Davey_Jones 3 points4 points ago

This is hands down the funniest GIF I ever seen.

[–]ramrob 0 points1 point ago

I snorted with unexpected laughter.

[–]Zerothe0 14 points15 points ago

Some people don't think it it be like it is, but it do

[–]LABoRATies 25 points26 points ago

That's not how soccer works.

[–]taloton 2 points3 points ago

Yes it is! Don't argue with me.

[–]Gtyyler 26 points27 points ago

like his hands? oh wait...

[–]skillphiliac 4 points5 points ago

Mickey Rourke seems to do just fine.

[–]TheChoke 4 points5 points ago

Worked for Rocky.

[–]yousirnaime 2 points3 points ago

"Keep headbutting him in the fists until he can't takes no more, Rock"

[–]mojorisin2592 0 points1 point ago

He's money baby.

That is more offensive on my eyes than anything I've seen on reddit, probably ever.

[–]flat_beer 1 point2 points ago

more offensive on his face.. than on your eyes.. GET IT??!!

[–]Mikey129 0 points1 point ago

Tell that to his mom...

[–]SuicidalPudge 1 point2 points ago

Ohhhh, I did!

[–]ronintetsuro 0 points1 point ago

Yes, you can. In fact, that's how the psychopaths that run everything got where they got. Taking it in the face as many times as is necessary.

[–]Zosoer 0 points1 point ago

Oh, like your hands? Wrong sport.

[–]DrizzX 9 points10 points ago

Few men, let alone kids will be ready for a second shot after you feel the first. I respect that little guy!

[–]hatesinsomnia 5 points6 points ago

That kid save two goals......with his face.

[–]GoodguyGerg 9 points10 points ago

looks like he was waiting for a call on his first fall but quickly realized it wasnt happenin and jumps up like nothing happened. Hes practically mastered the sport

[–]ConsciousMisspelling 8 points9 points ago

A call for what? Its not a foul to have the ball kicked at your face.

[–]vrefron -3 points-2 points ago

Not yet

[–]LEIFey 0 points1 point ago

I know my hockey coach would be going crazy for him. Sacrifice the body!

ron paul

[–]cadet999 113 points114 points ago

If that was war, he'd be awarded the medal of honor posthumously TWICE

[–]lightball2000 40 points41 points ago

If that was war, I imagine he'd only be awarded the medal of honor posthumously once.

[–]DorkusMalorkuss 10 points11 points ago

Give 'em a break - he's just a Cadet.

[–]SandJA1 6 points7 points ago

You're right. He can probably die twice. Because he's just a Cadet.

[–]Half-Life2_Episode_3 32 points33 points ago

The question is... which one is the redditor?

[–]Spoonofdarkness 17 points18 points ago

All of them.

[–]celtric 18 points19 points ago

Or more like none of them, given that they're outside doing sport.

[–]shiftup72 7 points8 points ago

pretty sure every reddit argument ended up with the other guy slamming his face into his keyboard against my flawlessly brilliant reasoning of why the Polycount update for tf2 was SO MUCH better than the Uber update and Hatless update COMBINED.

Fucking hatless pushers have an extra chromosone i swear.

[–]OILikeThat 54 points55 points ago

Valiant effort little man.

[–]yourmansconnect 28 points29 points ago

You cant teach effort

[–]Escendo 7 points8 points ago

Yes you can, through yelling.

[–]OILikeThat 0 points1 point ago

It's simply instinct.

[–]Luthos 15 points16 points ago

First kick: heh. Second kick: unexpected and still can't stop laughing

[–]airline_peanuts_lol 18 points19 points ago

Yes, I would definitely agree that it feels like balls to the face.

[–]langfordm8 46 points47 points ago

Just getting his head in the game

[–]ugnis13 11 points12 points ago

He'll get ahead in life with that attitude

[–]PorkShake 15 points16 points ago

He's eager and willing to face a challenge.

[–]Propolandante 6 points7 points ago

I admire his ability to take a challenge head-on.

[–]TitusAndroidicus -2 points-1 points ago

With competitiveness like that, he can face any opponent.

[–]skakruk -4 points-3 points ago

All the bitches are going to give him head.

[–]Scarsdale_Vibe 8 points9 points ago

That kid must've made repeated grammar mistakes in his trash talk.

[–]jeremy_280 0 points1 point ago

That or used an example, that a redditor deems an anecdote, therefore to him it becomes completely irrelevant.

[–]HLef 31 points32 points ago

He got up ready for some more. Teach this kid how to play hockey.

[–]BlameTibor 30 points31 points ago

That whole diving and whining thing? Happens only at the top level of play. Us amateurs don't want to get laughed at by our teammates. Gotta get in hard, like this guy!

Also as a side note about hockey - lately in the playoffs there has been a lot of throwing the head back to get high stick calls, etc. The motto from professional soccer has started to spread to hockey - If you aren't cheating, you aren't trying to win hard enough. :(

[–]ionian 36 points37 points ago

Or for the love of god let him keep playing soccer! Maybe it'll spread.

[–]HLef 13 points14 points ago

Or that. Good point.

[–]conairsmith 2 points3 points ago

If only someone could loop this a little better

[–]PixelizedApe 3 points4 points ago

That kid is a defensive god.

[–]thethingofcreepy 8 points9 points ago

What arguing with a redditor feels like

FTFY

[–]shredster 1 point2 points ago

Too easy! :(

[–]lastDose 1 point2 points ago

Kids got heart

[–]cfinch12 1 point2 points ago

I imagine the bomberman knock down sound playing during this

[–]Painkiller655321 1 point2 points ago

There is always that one guy who knows enough information to end the argument in an instant like those "Case Closed" segments on Tosh.O.

[–]PatAunces 0 points1 point ago

You'll never win an argument on reddit because the other guy will never admit he's wrong. At some point you just give up.

[–]IndigoHurls 1 point2 points ago

I hope his mom took him for ice cream later. At least a popsicle.

[–]LeeroyJenkins- 1 point2 points ago

Holy shit. This gif looks pretty old but I've never seen it. This is hilarious!

[–]honor_face 1 point2 points ago

What if professional soccer players had anywhere near this amount of true grit? Instead they play hurt and fall down like wusses for no reason. That is why americans DO NOT watch soccer. It looks to us like a bunch of whiny 9 year old girls throwing a doily at each other and claiming injuries.

[–]ihutch01 1 point2 points ago

No it doesn't.

[–]Inamanlyfashion 2 points3 points ago

Yes it does.

[–]ihutch01 1 point2 points ago

NO IT DOESN'T

[–]Inamanlyfashion 0 points1 point ago

This isn't an argument! It's just contradiction!

[–]ihutch01 0 points1 point ago

No it's not!

[–]Inamanlyfashion 0 points1 point ago

Yes it is!

[–]PippyLongSausage 0 points1 point ago

yes it does

[–]AtlantaFalcon 1 point2 points ago

I apologize to anyone who can't stomach this song, but here is the kid's theme song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2H5uWRjFsGc&ob=av2e

[–]joshtheraider 0 points1 point ago

I can't stop watching this...

[–]a_tension_center 0 points1 point ago

That's using your head, kid!

[–]harunsamad 0 points1 point ago

What you mean is you get hurt (by redditors) but still prove your point.

[–]tallpapab 0 points1 point ago

Not sure if OP feels like he can't get his points across (score) or like his head hurts.

[–]jimtracysmyhomeboy 0 points1 point ago

I haven't seen someone take balls to the chin repeatedly so gracefully since your mother last night. Heyoo

[–]iceplanet2002 0 points1 point ago

I can't stop laughing. Please tell me one of you has a video link. If I'm going to die of hyperventilation, it better be to a video and not a damn gif.

[–]BeenWildin 0 points1 point ago

I'm not sure what you're talking about, but that gif was funny.

[–]RiperSnifle 0 points1 point ago

This just might be one of my many repressed memories.

[–]ShovelFace 0 points1 point ago

If you mean arguing with a Redditor is like kicking the other person in the face a bunch of times, then I fully support this.

It's harder to support, however, if I assume someone kicks the shit out of my face. I have a touchy ego.

[–]gientsosage 0 points1 point ago

1337, have an upvote.

[–]Arvakr 0 points1 point ago

This is what happens when you learn to play football from Scott Parker

[–]RedEyeIT 0 points1 point ago

Are you the one kicking or the one taking a ball to the face then?

[–]DucksGoMoo1 0 points1 point ago

I had to watch this multiple times for the comedic effect. Get this boy a Purple Heart!

[–]Beastchief 0 points1 point ago

Anybody notice that the goals are freaking huge?

[–]Frankeh 1 point2 points ago

The people are actually little.

[–]IdiocyInc 0 points1 point ago

Mandatory balls to the face innuendo.

[–]murderface04 0 points1 point ago

Ive been a back my entire short life and I can justifiably say that I know this feeling.

[–]new_abcdefghijkl 0 points1 point ago

I got it! NO YOU DON'T. I got it! NO YOU DONT

[–]sh4ft 0 points1 point ago

Some solid D right there. Sign him up

[–]moyerr 0 points1 point ago

Are you saying you feel like your just getting kicked in the head or that you're arguing with somebody that is incredible at defending their arguments? Because I think this kid's defensive skills are unquestionable.

[–]matt56 0 points1 point ago

I thought the second time he got hit it was a completely different kid...which I think is more accurate

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point ago

You think that's bad, try arguing with a youtuber.

[–]nicque 0 points1 point ago

It's likely I'll have the shit downvoted out of my no matter what I say! No more 2 cents from me! No faith in humanity.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point ago

I downvoted this because of the embarrassingly awful title.

[–]GlF 0 points1 point ago

Thats using your head YEEEAAAAAAHHHH.

[–]bastian1343 -1 points0 points ago

We're all upvoting this because you're totally not talking about us but about all the others who of course are idiots.

[–]calard -1 points0 points ago

|What arguing with every redditor besides me feels like

FTFY

[–]moothemagiccow -1 points0 points ago

No

[–]zelars -1 points0 points ago

God I hope this kid succeeds in life. Generally, Pro Football players that make an average persons life income per week do not display this amount of ultra heart and cojones. There are exceptions, but I feel this is too commonly seen.
