I never agreed with pascal's wager you cant portend to believe in something you don't all your life in the hopes that in you can fool an all knowing god that you were a loyal servant all your life.

That's only one of many, many problems with pascal's wager. Another is what if it's the wrong god? After all the Christian god is a self proclaimed jealous god, what if he's the real one? What happens to the hindus?
The best explanation I ever got about religion and all the different religious books was to think of them all as hallways leading to the same door.( this still doesn't work for all religions but most of them fit in nicely.) It paints a nice mental picture anyway.

Except the hallways are all telling you that if you use any hallway but one, you'll end up at a very, very bad door. Also, you should assist those in other hallways in getting to that bad door ASAP. Also also, there is no proof either door exists. And the idea of either door not existing threatens the existence of the door.

True. On a side note have you ever notice that some religious beliefs are far more insane then others? I have read about most of them in my long search for what I believe and some are just well out there.

IMO the more specific a belief gets, the more insane it is. Saying "Hey, maybe there's something that started all this", while not supported by facts, also isn't refuted by facts.
Saying "Hey, maybe there's a guy named yahweh that started all this 6000 years ago over the span of seven days, then did a ton of impossible stuff that is documented in a large book" is directly refuted by evidence we have.

ALL of them are "well out there". Christianity, for instance, is one of the most batshit insane piles of drivel I have ever had the misfortune to read. It is no less crazy than any other.
Burden of proof is on the religious.
We're not the ones making grandiose claims with no evidence.
Ridiculous claims made without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.
