Wow... just... wow.

Some of the phrasing would be straight-up racist if they came from a white person. Case in point is the cartoon on p50 - "Black scientists celebrate a cure for cancer derived from black-eyed peas, barbecued ribs, and collard greens."

The fashions in 2000 were almost correct... but it took Lady Gaga another 10 years to make them real.

We were twelve years late on the black president thing (they predicted 1996), not to mention that Eddie Murphy has yet to become Secretary of State... He did have it, yes. But that level of paleness he reached nearly overnight wasn't natural. With Vitiligo, it's patchy and not all at once.

It wasn't all at once, he'd been visibly patchy since the early 80s, he covered himself with make up until 1990 when he was prescribed creams to even it out. The white glove? To cover his vitiligo.

Not exactly sure what you are trying to imply...instead of having patches of white blotched across his face/hands and body where he looked like a cow he chose to depigment all his skin, it is pretty much a one time process and its permanent.

so evidently the artist has at some point in his life seen an older black person. when i worked in a job where i'd talk to customers for at least an hour each time they came in, i had the opportunity to talk with a lot of people. one thing i found out, black people never look as old as they are. it's insane. this guy was in his 60s and he looked to have the same wear and tear on him that a white 40 something year old would have. this would repeat itself again and again. they just age better.
