The photographer, Peter Przybille, is German. The dog is an alaskan husky, and the picture is taken in Norway.

My guess would be Czechoslovakian Wolfdog. This one has a lot of white, but one of the traits are dark trim around the edges of the ears. Another example.

I know, seriously. I'm a photographer and regardless if it's reposted or not, it's a great photograph. At least I know what it takes to make a great photo. Most people buy a DSLR thinking they can just take professional pictures. I"ve been doing photography since high school.

And also, how the heck am I going to know if something is reposted without being on reddit 24/7? Doesn't this sound like the beginning of a rage comic? LoL.

EDIT: I also think photoshop is over-used and a poor excuse for a photographer unless you absolutely HAVE to change something in the photograph. If half of your job is fixing photos you have taken, you're not a photographer.
