I'd love to see the untouched photo.

[–][deleted] ago

[deleted]

[–]johnston9234 58 points59 points ago

jeez, that lady has a family

[–]GiantWhaleCannon 1 point2 points ago

Her family will be sad if Photoshop gives her melanoma.

[–]Socky_McPuppet 1 point2 points ago

The woman does have a family, yes, but that's not a photo of a woman - it's a heavily-processed and manipulated digital image based on a photo of a real woman, who has a family.

[–]grabpot 520 points521 points ago

Every time I bike past that ad, I'm struck by how ludicrously shopped it is. What is even up with that skin colour?

[–]jettrscga 142 points143 points ago

She looks like she's been painted with pearlescent paint. where she changes colors depending on viewing angle.

[–]dildingdos 48 points49 points ago

every single car in SR3 that I have is pearlescent. I wish we were pearlescent, too.

[–]jettrscga 3 points4 points ago

That's actually the game that had me thinking of it at the moment.

[–]bjams 2 points3 points ago

Fuck yeah. Saint's purple pearlescent with gold trim and gold rims.

[–]OatmealPowerSalad 1 point2 points ago

Hell yeah, same with SR2.

[–]luckyscs 25 points26 points ago

I think she is supposed to be underwater and light is getting refracted onto different positions on her body. /edit: she seems to be on top of the water with sunlight reflecting on her from underneath.

[–]lolbbqstain 4 points5 points ago

Yeah that looks like what it is supposed to be doing, but they did a pretty bad job at it.

At lot of people don't realize that she is supposed to be underwater

[–]AurenC 20 points21 points ago

Well... if I look at the bottom of the picture and see that she's obviously above water, can you really blame me for not realizing that was the idea? That picture is a failure :(

[–]meeps114 10 points11 points ago

Her hair is what makes it look above water.

[–]trollus_maximus 8 points9 points ago

If you look at her right hand you can see she is sitting in water and the reflections are (supposed to be) coming from that. Still a shitty PS job.

[–]aFlyingGuru 2 points3 points ago

That gave me a flashback to Need for Speed Most Wanted.. ah

[–]RussianFedora 1 point2 points ago

Gumpert Apollo S is best car.

[–]iTzTeHWAFFLE 4 points5 points ago

Upboats for Supra.

[–][deleted] 51 points52 points ago

If you look at photos of the actual model, her skin tone is much lighter than in that ad. I believe H&M was even forced to apologize for the ad due to the supposedly extremely tanned model.

[–]not_random_spam 28 points29 points ago

http://bottomline.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/05/11/11657352-hm-apologizes-for-using-too-tan-model-in-ads?lite

Not quite. They apologized for showing a super-tan model in SWEDEN. You know, where people don't tan so much as burn and get cancer.

The model is from BRAZIL. She doesn't need photoshop to have dark skin. The people demanding the apology don't even claim they used photoshop.

Realistically, it appears they altered contrast somewhat which is why it looks a bit surreal... but this isn't heavily shopped and isn't a good example of overuse of photoshop. They were specifically saying it's unrealistic because they ran the ad in SWEDEN.

[–]Olyeller 44 points45 points ago

this isn't heavily shopped

Really? This is her normal skin colour. How is that not heavily photoshopped?

EDIT: PhoenixGrey has a better example where you can see the comparison here

[–]Big_Black_Wang 25 points26 points ago

The model is from BRAZIL. She doesn't need photoshop to have dark skin.

You know not everyone from Brazil has tan skin, right? there is a large number of fair-skinned people there too.

[–]No_Please_Continue 4 points5 points ago

Like me! I burn in the sun, not tan. People always ask me why I'm so white when I'm Brazilian.

[–]Big_Black_Wang 1 point2 points ago

You should tell them you moved there as a child and everyone there is actually brown and lives in tin huts like they are led to believe.

[–][deleted] ago

[deleted]

[–]mischi 144 points145 points ago

Exactly what I'm thinking. Those advertisements are all over Frankfurt and on all of them there is a model with this ridiculous tan.

[–]cny2mia 58 points59 points ago

also all over shanghai. i don't think H&M realizes that chinese people don't want to be tan. pale is sexy in aisa.

[–]TheKindestDemon 5 points6 points ago

Whoa, somewhere tan ISN'T the ideal? Sign me up! I LOVE pale skin. Or, more accurately, I go for people with obviously natural skin colors. Black women with dark skin are sexy as hell to me, but the beach blondes with super dark skin just look tacky.

[–]Please_send_baguette 1 point2 points ago

The ideal of paleness in Asia comes with plenty of problems. Think tanning is unhealthy? Women here apply whitening products daily. There are race and class implications as well - not everyone is as candid about it, but a couple of Japanese women outright told me that they kept their skin white so as not to be mistaken for a Filipino maid.

[–]DynamicStatic 2 points3 points ago

Does this ideal of being white only apply to women or both sexes?

[–]BusinessCasualty 84 points85 points ago

Looks like she has Chinese hair and the skin of a hot dog.

[–]SirLoinOfCow 31 points32 points ago

That's Hulk Hogan's trademark look.

[–]overused_ellipsis 5 points6 points ago

It even looks like the head is shopped on a different body...

[–]forgettableme 1 point2 points ago

Its possible thats the right body to head, but the angle of her head makes her shoulders look way too big for it. Perspective was suppose to enhance her breasts, just ended up giving her a "tiny head".

[–]HE_WHO_STANDS_TO_POO 135 points136 points ago

Yeah, but boobs, though.

[–]Batolemaeus 103 points104 points ago

Cold, lifeless plastic. You know that sound styrofoam produces when you rub against it? Yes.

[–]i_practice_santeria 43 points44 points ago

Surely, they don't sound like that.

[–]MisanLycanThrope 98 points99 points ago

Of course they do. The real ones are more like bags of sand. Sand bags if you will.

[–]doodledeer 22 points23 points ago

I've heard tell of them being bags of fun. Funbags if you will.

[–]gredders 1 point2 points ago

And don't call him Shirley.

[–]moldy912 11 points12 points ago

Yes, of course they do. And don't call me Shirley.

[–]exflashkick 16 points17 points ago

You've never touched fake boobs have you.

[–]ChrisFingaz 52 points53 points ago

only a handful

[–]Batolemaeus 4 points5 points ago

Great, now any comment I could make to exflashkick would feel artificial, forced, and just nothing like the real thing. Just because you had to jump in.

[–]shadowdude777 7 points8 points ago

would feel artificial, forced, and just nothing like the real thing.

Just like fake boobs.

[–]Quadra_Slam[!] 6 points7 points ago

...and Photoshop enhanced.

[–]shakesoda 1 point2 points ago

ENHANCE

[–]DangerToDangers 23 points24 points ago

Upvote for reminding us what's most important.

[–]morpheousmarty 43 points44 points ago

Am I the only one who just assumes all advertising is fake? I don't expect real people, water, or clothes to look that good. I don't expect the price is accurate. I wouldn't even think of complaining about the lack of realism in an advertisement except as a joke.

[–]forgettableme 9 points10 points ago

Nope. I have taken some classes in photoshop and since made it a point to point out to my daughter how fake these things are for just this reason.

[–]morpheousmarty 6 points7 points ago

As a kid I would watch every commercial on TV trying to figure out how they were trying to mislead me. I'm pretty sure my dad started me on it, it really helped me develop my skeptical side. Also kept me from wanting a bunch of that crap.

[–]smyd223 6 points7 points ago

seriously though, these types of images being thrown at teenaged girls hundreds of times a day is fucking terrible for them. I've met 8 years olds that are skinny as rails that are completely obsessed with being thin. they don't really understand that it isn't real and that people don't look like that.

[–]PhoenixGrey 34 points35 points ago

Her actual skin colour is in the photograph at the top of this article:

http://jezebel.com/5909203/hm-makes-model-look-really-really-really-tan

[–]Siderman1 18 points19 points ago

That might be shopped as well...it's another HM ad.

[–]PhoenixGrey 9 points10 points ago

Well her name is Isabeli Fontana so if you wished to try and find her agency 'polaroids' you could. Putting it simply though, she's white.

[–]brokenelevator 5 points6 points ago

[–]sdk16420 26 points27 points ago

[–]fdg456n 9 points10 points ago

Looks like gold body paint.

[–]peregrintook 11 points12 points ago

Looks like gravy.

[–]quaste 19 points20 points ago

Fun fact: H&M officially apologized for using a dark skin color after cancer groups accused them of promoting an unhealthy lifestyle.

EDIT: looked up a source

[–]InternetParticipant 8 points9 points ago

This getting to be a boringly-predictable world of silly reprimands. Ugh.

[–][deleted] ago

[deleted]

[–]Dirante 2 points3 points ago

i like to think its mix of photoshop and awesome photography/lighting skills.

[–]buddha131 20 points21 points ago

I think it's a cool, "cartoony" visual style, honestly. It's nowhere near realistic, not even the water or sky in the background, but it showcases real clothes on real people. Honestly its the less obvious ads that need that sticker, this one is obvious.

[–]casual_complimenter 21 points22 points ago

Can you call it real clothes on real people when both have been shopped mercilessly?

[–]modernbox 34 points35 points ago

Nah, just bad photoshop.

[–]CAINE36 7 points8 points ago

I agree. The average person will realize that something is not right with this picture, because it's obvious. There are some very good photoshops out there, like in certain magazines and commercials, that you can't even tell are photoshops. The convincing photoshops are the ones that people need to be educated that they are photoshops.

[–]AndieC 1 point2 points ago

There has been a lot of controversy with this ad, especially because of the "tanorexic mom" that's been in the news. Here's the article I first read about it. It compares her natural skin tone to the photoshopped ones in the ads.

[–]injekted 236 points237 points ago

Simple and effective. The best kind of street art.

[–]cries_photoshop 29 points30 points ago

Photoshopped.

[–]DoctorLazertron 27 points28 points ago

I can tell by the pixels.

[–]penny_whistle 2 points3 points ago

I'm guessing you have also seen a few shops in your time?

[–]atafies 1 point2 points ago

Yes, quite a few.

[–]TechnicallyRon 28 points29 points ago

Where was this taken?

[–]mepper[S] 55 points56 points ago

Hamburg Germany

[–]DepressedRacoon 21 points22 points ago

I saw this yesterday on /r/unitedkingdom, but seems to have been found to be German since I saw it.
http://www.reddit.com/r/unitedkingdom/comments/trwvk/hm_poster_vandalised_with_a_photoshop_toolbar/c4p73m3

[–]BigLongBlackSock 2 points3 points ago

Since the price is in Euros Im betting the poster is in Germany and the picture was just posted in r/unitedkingdom

[–]cmk5 1 point2 points ago

This is the photo that was posted in /r/unitedkingdom. From the angle you can make out the German advert on the poster around the corner.

[–]yesnewyearseve 1 point2 points ago

Which station? Is that Bahnhof Altona at the bus station?

[–]gdpt 3 points4 points ago

Did you guys invent the Hamburger?

[–]Megabert 26 points27 points ago

No, no. Hamburgers are made from people from Hamburg.

[–]PenisFlyTrap 2 points3 points ago

I'd say I feel bad, but I don't. Those people are delicious.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points ago

So a frankfurter is made from...

Never mind.

[–]0rbdamu 1 point2 points ago

Actually there are different stories of where it came from, but most of them do mention Hamburg, so we like to claim that we did. :)

[–]Lakario 101 points102 points ago

We have these billboards here in Hollywood. Photoshop or not, that is what the beginning of skin cancer looks like. Great message.

[–]wallychamp 42 points43 points ago

The Swedish Cancer Society actually called them out on that and they issued an apology. Obviously BS, but other people did notice.

[–]Legio_X 1 point2 points ago

Is it just me, or is she also underwater or something?

[–]pqjp 158 points159 points ago

As a photo retoucher, I like this.

[–]IMasturbateToMyself 150 points151 points ago

As a penis toucher, I also like this.

[–]ios_k 125 points126 points ago

As a whale, I am lonely.

[–]jcroucher56 44 points45 points ago

You should learn to dance. It worked out well for that penguin that couldn't sing.

[–]supergai 4 points5 points ago

don't worry, you can make friends with the ground.

[–]I_POTATO_PEOPLE 110 points111 points ago

She looks like beef jerky.

[–]red321red321 32 points33 points ago

she makes me jerk my beef if you know what i mean

[–]behemoth5 27 points28 points ago

I don't get it.

[–]planktonshmankton 28 points29 points ago

red321 likes to masturbate.

[–][deleted] ago

[deleted]

[–]NSFWhoosh 1 point2 points ago

I'm with ya

[–]Adriantbh 1 point2 points ago

You could've just said "she makes my beef jerky".

[–]s7uck0 308 points309 points ago

Lovely, and inspiring.

[–]Toliver182 462 points463 points ago

On so many layers

[–]daveswagon 65 points66 points ago

You still could have said levels.

[–]Toliver182 69 points70 points ago

Ahh but the pun could have been missed by many

Edit: Just realised it is actually not a pun.

[–]monkeedude1212 33 points34 points ago

Ah, the difference between a pun and a play on words; Both are fun to employ, but I find POW to be a bit more difficult, and thus, more rewarding.

[–]Argheyegee 34 points35 points ago

Go on, have a congratulatory wank

[–]Kowzorz 2 points3 points ago

What's the difference between a pun and a play on words? I'd always been taught they were synonymous.

[–]monkeedude1212 35 points36 points ago

A pun is when you use a different word (usually a homonym) in a sentence to convey a second meaning. Like a valentine card that says "Bee Mine" with a picture of a bee on it. Sometimes you see what people call "pun threads" on reddit and sometimes people use play on words instead of puns, but we let it slide because its all funny. Like when there's a 9/11 joke "That's just plane wrong" or a WW2 joke that "I did nazi that coming!"

A play on words is a full sentence that makes perfect sense in context, and the words used convey more than one meaning, sort of like a double entendre*. Like "On many layers" makes sense, because it's funny in more than one way, but it's also funny because Photoshop uses layers. If someone were to make a pun thread about someone hitting someone, and a reply says something like "Okay guys, Knock it off" - that's technically a play on words, not a pun.

*except a double entendre is like a reverse pun, where the words used don't really imply a second meaning, but your delivery of the words force that second meaning. Like how I like to spend my evenings MILKING the COW, if you catch my drift.

[–]Senuf 3 points4 points ago

Or Curves, which lets you do finer adjustments and is quite relevant, as the picture goes.

[–]GeneralLudd 15 points16 points ago

Definitely. There has been a similar adbusting in Berlin a while ago. It looks even a bit better than this one imho.

[–]cmk5 1 point2 points ago

This was in Germany too. You can see a German advert on the left in this photo of the same thing from a slightly different angle.

(The image was posted in /r/unitedkingdom yesterday by someone who mistakenly thought it happened in the UK)

[–]half_true 11 points12 points ago

isn't this called culture jamming?

Common tactics include re-figuring logos, fashion statements, and product images as a means to challenge the idea of "what's cool" along with assumptions about the personal freedoms of consumption

[–]spacetime_sundae 1 point2 points ago

Just for fun, the English Wikipedia page defines Culture Jamming as a "tactic", and the German version defines it as an "art form".

Also, lol'ed at the Audi poster.

[–]El_Diablito 54 points55 points ago

Deface? More like adding truth in advertising.

[–]MJZMan 7 points8 points ago

Wow, what a powerful statement. If only we could make even stronger statements to these companies. Maybe ones involving actual dollars, that might actually affect these corporations. We could call it a boycott, and vow to not spend our money. I mean, sure, we'll have to sacrifice not having the latest trendy fashions.....awwwwww, who am I kidding, who wants to do that? Let's keep buying their merchandise, defacing their posters, and slapping ourselves on the back like we actually accomplished anything. Then later we can get stoned and bitch about how evil corporations run everything.

[–]davedgd 6 points7 points ago

I just spent a week in Berlin and that ad is EVERYWHERE, on the street, U-Bahn and S-Bahn. I wouldn't mind it so much if it weren't so disturbing.

[–]wortelcake 1 point2 points ago

I know about the U-[something] stuff but what is a S-Bahn? Something like surface or so? And what is the German word for it?

[–]VogelmitKrone 2 points3 points ago

U(ntergrund)-Bahn = subway (literally under the surface train) S(chnell)-Bahn = my translater tells me you call it a suburban train? literally quick/rapid train

Fun fact: in Hamburg where this was taken a lot of subways travel overground on bridges

[–]wortelcake 1 point2 points ago

yeah, the trains are fast shits for hopping city's. They're not used within city's. We have trams that go relatively fast...

[–]_Personage 11 points12 points ago

Defaces? Enhances, more like.

[–]I_Lyk_Dis 3 points4 points ago

CSI-style Enhance

[–]Tufftoy 1 point2 points ago

If you stare at that pic, it looks like it starts to move.

[–]Brad__Schmitt 5 points6 points ago

[–]Kennie_B 14 points15 points ago

If just more people could notice this.

[–]timmytron 15 points16 points ago

And knew what they were looking at.

[–]polite_pervert 19 points20 points ago

I wouldn't call it defacing it, I would call it improving it.

[–]haiku_robot 22 points23 points ago

I wouldn't call it
defacing it, I would call
it improving it.

[–]Ima_lil_teapot 4 points5 points ago

Why is there a comma and not a period for the price?

[–]herpaderpaa 19 points20 points ago

Because this picture was taken in Germany.

[–]Ima_lil_teapot 2 points3 points ago

TIL..

[–]shwanman 8 points9 points ago

TIL,,,

[–]sh0em0nkey 3 points4 points ago

This will probably get burried, but I guess I'm the only one who doesn't care about photoshop?

As a photographer who does all of my own photo retouching, I see nothing wrong with most photo retouching. The greeks didn't sculpt statues with pimples on it, nor did they put in the natural roles of the rib cage when a women leans from side to side. The tools are a lot different, but since the dawn of time, we've been manipulating people subjects to be more appealing to the eye.

Sure, I don't necessarily condone shaving off 30 - 50 pounds, but that's not really the case most of the time.

Oh, and if I remember correctly, H&M released a statement about this after people complained about skin cancer and stuff. Turns out this model is Brazilian, and naturally has a darker skin tone.

This whole thing against photo retouching is just utter bullshit and reeks of smugness.

[–]what_ever_man 30 points31 points ago

This was here yesterday...all day.

[–]Bromazepam 18 points19 points ago

It's a repost, but it's a different picture (you could see the advertisement on the left on the other one). I'd say the OP genuinely didn't know this had been posted already.

[–]what_ever_man 8 points9 points ago

Fair enough.

[–]be_mindful 5 points6 points ago

and guess what? not everyone was on reddit, and specifically on /r/pics all day long.

[–]kvachon 14 points15 points ago

Thats genius.

[–]wweerrddUP 3 points4 points ago

Well played friend, well played.

[–]YaBoyDake 3 points4 points ago

Good, good work.

Embrace honest beauty.

[–]unsurelysure 4 points5 points ago

what everyone is not aware of... this is actually an advertisement for photoshop

well done adobe... well done....

[–]curlyfreak 9 points10 points ago

I saw this ad in an H&M and was just floored by how fake that tan is. White people - stop trying to look brown, your skin was not made for it and you'll just end up with cancer :(

[–]willyolio 7 points8 points ago

yeah, i work at a pool and there's this one old white guy (a regular, i've seen his skin colour in the winter) and he looked roasted. literally, roasted. The deep brown colour that I look for when I put a chicken in the oven for several hours.

it was scary.

[–]curlyfreak 1 point2 points ago

I went to Greece a few years back and witnessed first hand what you described. Old German dudes sun bathing whose skin looked like leather.

It's horrifying.

[–]aggibridges 2 points3 points ago

Dude, not everyone is Nordic white. I'm Latina, and I look like that after five minutes in the sun while wearing sunscreen. ಠ_ಠ

[–]curlyfreak 1 point2 points ago

I'm Latina also, and I look pretty dark after 5 minutes in the sun too, so I totally understand.

The lady in that ad however I doubt is Latina. She has been clearly manipulated and darkened. Someone mentioned her original photo was lighter. It promotes the dumb tanning culture for folks whose skin cannot handle it. Ours can, luckily!

My point still stands. Depending on who or where you are, the sun can be your friend or your enemy.

[–]aggibridges 1 point2 points ago

She's from Brazil. And last time I checked, fake tanning (which is almost certainly what she has there), isn't harmful at all. The fact that you personally interpret that being that tan necessarily means "unhealthy amounts of sun" is as ridiculous as thinking "that lady is overweight, bet she stuffs her face with McDonalds every day". Guess what, some people have thyroid problems.

If we start saying that "Oh, we can't have models in Europe that look tan because it promotes an unhealthy language", we might as well start saying "Oops, we can't use latino models in Sweden because they're gonna think they need to start looking tan too!" That's discrimination.

[–]abovepostisfunnier 1 point2 points ago

My friends never listen to me and actually make fun of me for putting on sun screen :\ They think if they put on sun screen they won't get tans.

[–]thegreatgazoo 4 points5 points ago

I didn't know you could get bikini tops in Europe. I didn't think women used them there.

[–]emperorpotatoketchup 9 points10 points ago

They also have a public television vagina channel I hear. Turn it on, just vaginas all day long. This brings their total number of TV channels up to 3.

[–]skullturf 1 point2 points ago

What were the first two? Left boob and right boob?

[–]emperorpotatoketchup 2 points3 points ago

Socialism news/weather and Britcoms.

[–]campfire 2 points3 points ago

Too many layers

[–]Swagnetic 2 points3 points ago

Is this in Germany because i think i saw it there?

[–]froggy555 2 points3 points ago

I can only hope one day like the, move towards more natural and organic foods, we will also want all the extra filler out of advertisements. I want to know what what real people look like, even the ridiculously beautiful ones.

[–]Atom_Smasher 2 points3 points ago

At least put [xpost] in the title. Is that so much to ask?

[–]celticd208 8 points9 points ago

Most accurate ad ever!

[–]jimsaysdoitthisway 41 points42 points ago

Fuck H & M. They make their models look like clothes hangers. There was one where the model's bicep was thinner than her wrist. No wonder so many people have fucking hang-ups about their body. Also they use virtual bodies for some of their ads.

[–]jbaker1225 57 points58 points ago

The girl in this ad looks completely healthy. Aside from the Oompa Loopma skin. But her build isn't particularly skinny.

[–]Hindu_Wardrobe 9 points10 points ago

It's mostly the skinny frame with the huge tits that gets to us women. Because for most women, that is unattainable without surgery.

Not even the models in the ads are that skinny with (naturally) huge tits, either! If you look at other pictures of the same model, she's still super skinny, but her boobs aren't the tremendous tit-monsters they are in that H&M ad. It's pure idiocy.

This isn't really defacing. They (he?) are protesting the fake tans and use of photoshop to make the models skinnier.

I was just reading an article on this earlier, if I can find it I'll post it up here.

Edit: okay, that was fast. Here is the article. Sorry, but it's from Gizmodo

[–]GenuinelyCrooked 4 points5 points ago

Technically still defacing, just for a good cause.

[–]skullturf 1 point2 points ago

Agreed. There's an argument to be made that it's a good thing to do, or deconstructs an unhealthy message that the original ad was sending, or something like that.

But technically, it is still defacing. The advertisers went through the proper channels to put that ad there, and somebody else came along and added to it.

The person who added onto the ad may have something clever and useful to say, but the fact is, they didn't go through the proper channels to put that message there, and instead posted it based on their own personal whims.

[–]LobaltSS 1 point2 points ago

Yeah, I guess both of you are correct. Just when I think of "defacing" I imagine graffiti over a picture or rude words, pictures, ect.

Like a big penis drawn on it would be defacing to me. (just a weird, random example).

Awesome

[–]Moosh_4 1 point2 points ago

I don't care how many times I've seen these photo's on here, I'll still upvote and support em.

Funny how that works, eh?

[–]luvmuppet 1 point2 points ago

I was about to say street artist vandal.... but then I saw this.

And I laughed heartily at it. Well played, street artist!

[–]J_Jammer 1 point2 points ago

Haha, I love the clever.

See, you don't have to do something angry. This is simple and powerful.

Fantastic choice in how to display one's disagreement with this weird ad.

[–]groucho_marxist 1 point2 points ago

How do we know he didn't deface a Photoshop advertisement?

[–]tagrav 1 point2 points ago

Once I finished fapping I soon realized how messed up this image is.

[–]Litagano 1 point2 points ago

The guy who did that should win a Nobel Prize for art

[–]acshen 1 point2 points ago

For everyone bashing the ad, I think the girl is supposed to be underwater, hence her odd skin tone & reflections from the light

[–]Viktour 1 point2 points ago

Who perceives 4th degree burns as sexy?

[–]MFchimichanga 4 points5 points ago

Tanning booth mom.

[–]Viktour 1 point2 points ago

Beef jerky that procreated.

FTFY

[–]kjtmuk 1 point2 points ago

H&M clothing is poor quality, washes badly and falls apart quickly.

[–]StevenSeagalBladder 1 point2 points ago

I'm generally not a crotch man, but every time I see that 11-foot, tanned Brazilian beauty I'm generally completely focused on her gigantic Y.

[–]Crisscrosshotsauce 1 point2 points ago

When I was looking a this really closely I was astounded by how well the sidebar was blended with the ad. Then I was wondering just how he got the mouse to fit in so realistically.

Then I realized it was my mouse...

[–]aporcelaintouch 1 point2 points ago

what happened to her arm?!

[–]whatsthematter 1 point2 points ago

How much is 4,95?

[–]Dolewhip 1 point2 points ago

So you're saying I can slap a sticker on something and call myself a street artist?

[–]fugelthang 1 point2 points ago

Took me way to long to realize the tool palette was the gag. It just belongs there.

[–]ComputerSavvy 1 point2 points ago

I think this explains it pretty well:

"Ahh-Doh-Bay" Brilliant!

[–]fish629 1 point2 points ago

Asshole stole my post

[–]eight8 1 point2 points ago

And the company is laughing all the way to the bank as we spread their advertisment again and again..

This Calvin Klein ad around Canada has the same type of look except for on men: http://www.mens-lifstyle.com/2012/01/calvin-klein-mens-underwear-colors-for.html

The tan is so dark on ads that you can't make out any of their features.

[–]Trackpad94 1 point2 points ago

Destroying someone else's property because you don't agree with the way they choose to market their products? Cool beans... fucking reddit.

[–]Paultimate79 1 point2 points ago

I dislike the look of people that artificially tan. They just look like they really need to shower and I get the urge to just hose them down till they are clean. FUCK LADY USE SOME SOAP

[–]aquestionoftime 1 point2 points ago

Who in their right mind expects honesty and realism from ADVERTISING? Sur-fucking-prise.

Pretty lazy "street art" too.

[–]sillymike 4 points5 points ago

Love it! very creative.
