HAa! Irrefutable evidence that being raised by two men makes you a violent sociopath. I win.

[–]Kiel297 63 points64 points ago

Nice try Sue Sylvester.

[–]Readyrock 51 points52 points ago

reddit porn

Altruistic to the point of self-parody.

[–]bugunderarug 460 points461 points ago

I'm surprised he's not a tight end.

[–]HE_WHO_STANDS_TO_POO 340 points341 points ago

.....or a wide receiver.

[–]CurLyy 112 points113 points ago

Full back sounds pretty gay

[–]guesto 32 points33 points ago

"Wide receiver in the slot", too. Honestly, you can play a drinking game while watching football. Shots every time a gay innuendo is made. You'd be plastered by the 2nd possession.

[–]svullenballe 56 points57 points ago

I'm not an American and know nothing about football but staring into a guys ass while screaming HOT HOT sounds pretty gay.

[–]mynoduesp 39 points40 points ago

It's a mans game.

[–]TL10 5 points6 points ago

Second only to Hockey here in Canada. Screw you Riders melon heads.

[–]Themiffins 9 points10 points ago

Watching manly men do manly things!

[–]Boredofborg 1 point2 points ago

That'd be rugby.

[–]mynoduesp 4 points5 points ago

Rugby isn't remotely gay. They have hookers.

[–]Furah 0 points1 point ago

Especially with Rugby League here in Australia. The players get in so much trouble over who they fuck it's barely newsworthy in sensationalist tabloids.

[–]zlam 17 points18 points ago

...wearing those fabulous tights.

[–]ThePunisher56 13 points14 points ago

We're men, Men in tights!

[–]shadouwolf 6 points7 points ago

Tight tights.

[–]SasparillaTango 2 points3 points ago

Hey don't knock em.

[–]usedtowork 8 points9 points ago

not if you play for the Oilers or the Packers

[–]RamblingStoner 8 points9 points ago

Don't forget the Rams!

[–]mistermog 8 points9 points ago

I love the Bears!

[–]interix 7 points8 points ago

and there goes my coffee, all over my keyboard. thankfully its my work keyboard, and fuck this piece of shit anyway.

[–]yourdadsbff 1 point2 points ago

How unfortunate--looks like your apostrophe key's already broken.

[–]interix 1 point2 points ago

same with my shift and caps key

[–]PsychoKuros 6 points7 points ago

  1. It's HUT, not HOT.
  2. Yes, yes it is.

[–]wootmonster 10 points11 points ago

Because jumping to the ground while 10 other guys hug, kiss and dry hump you after scoring a goal isn't?

[–]tagrav 2 points3 points ago

actually some really fucked up shit happens in the pile. People getting eyes gouged, spit in your face, fingers bent backwards

Most players piss themselves during the game as well.

[–]fyshstix 0 points1 point ago

I think he's referring to post goal scoring celebrations in soccer.

[–]yourdadsbff 0 points1 point ago

Most players piss themselves during the game as well.

Ugh, I might regret asking this but...citation? And, I mean, are we talking a few droplets here? They seem like an inevitable side effect of kinetic pelvic activity (what we in the industry like to call KPA). Or are you implying that most players soak their tights and jockstraps with lukewarm, salty urine?

[–]Phallindrome 2 points3 points ago

The latter. If you're getting paid millions a year to be on the field, you can't ask for a 10 minute break so you can take all your gear off, pee in a toilet and put it all back on. It's all washable for a reason.

[–]BikerRay 1 point2 points ago

I'm bound to be corrected, but someone told me in cricket you can have "an inside leg tickle". Or something.

[–]tookietookie 0 points1 point ago

I can't say I have heard that, inside leg isn't a fielding position or field area that I know of. You could have "a tickle to fine leg/short leg", "a tickle off the legs", "a tickle off the inside edge" but I can't really think of anything that makes a good innuendo. Maybe "a Push to long leg."

[–]yourdadsbff 0 points1 point ago

"...And so that's how my engorged penis ended up roughly and anxiously lapping up the sweat around the plaintiff's asscheeks like a dog greeting his master at the end of a long, lonely day. Your honor."

[–]ChAdLeYisRaDlEy 9 points10 points ago

I still get a chuckle whenever the commentators mention "penetration".

[–]Dr_Underpants_Md 5 points6 points ago

Also when they say the running back has to find the hole and explode through it. That is always a good chuckler for me.

[–]camillet12 2 points3 points ago

Drink every time Gruden says "pounded it in" on MNF...seriously. Drunk in a flash.

[–]texansfan 1 point2 points ago

just called a slot receiver.

[–]chemistry_teacher 1 point2 points ago

Heheh, you said "possession".

[–]texasradioandthebigb 0 points1 point ago

Hurr! Hrr! He said "possession"!

[–]Offensive_Brute 0 points1 point ago

Yeah but no position is gayer than place kicker.

[–]alexsc12 1 point2 points ago

Offensive line, bro.

[–]metalguitar103 1 point2 points ago

Best name ever.

[–]InvalidObjects 0 points1 point ago

[–]andrew_canada 85 points86 points ago

Or a Quarter Back.

I've Got nothing.

[–]Pop_Off 148 points149 points ago

Horrible capitalization.

[–]saneenough 107 points108 points ago

fUcK yoU

[–]wtfil 24 points25 points ago

hEY man, WATch where you put those THINGS

[–]steviesteveo12 3 points4 points ago

It's like he lost interest in the shift key at the end.

[–]GrapeJuicePlus 1 point2 points ago

Don't blame him, he's Canadian.

[–]fishnetdiver 0 points1 point ago

better than a Nickleback

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point ago

Well, the Quarter Back is the guy that smoshes his hand to another dudes balls more times then one would want to count.

And thank glob for that. You know how much it hurts if he don't press against those bad boys? You are basically hitting yourself in the nuts and just hoping your friend is there to protect them.

[–]yourdadsbff 0 points1 point ago

Wait, your analogy's confused me. Which part represents the penis again?

[–]are595 8 points9 points ago

Are you really that surprised?

[–]bugunderarug 3 points4 points ago

heh... heh.... yes.

[–]absolutebeginners 1 point2 points ago

Gay sex joke, you're hilarious...

[–]ech0-chris 46 points47 points ago

What does the law in North Carolina have to do with this? Pretty sure the kid would've been a douchebag either way, prompting this letter to be written.

[–]therealxris 19 points20 points ago

The law in NC means that karma is flowing heavily toward anything pro-gay. That's why this belongs here, so OP can get his karmas.

[–]i_am_sad 6 points7 points ago

Karma comes in, karma comes out.

You can't explain that.

[–]ech0-chris 1 point2 points ago

Ah, I see.

EDIT: I never understood it. Why does karma matter so much? And isn't it kind of crude to use gay issues to get karma? Furthermore, no one on here uses their real name on Reddit so when they die no one will know who POTATO_IN_MY_ANUS truly ever was, and no one will associate the karma with him (or any of you). So what's the point?

[–]therealxris 0 points1 point ago

In reply to your edit: No idea. Maybe they're saving up for the day it becomes a currency.

[–]ech0-chris 1 point2 points ago

Someone should make an account like JOHN_R_DOE_of_DALLAS_TEXAS so everyone knows it's him in case he passes away. Then they can look at his account and say "Look at all the karma that guy got. Had a productive life."

As it is.. I don't think the guy whose name is POTATO_IN_MY_ANUS WANTS to be associated with that name at death.

[–]YouArentReasonable 2 points3 points ago

Most people don't realize that in addition to NC, marriage is defined as the union of one man and one woman in at least 41 other states. It's amusing to see those who bash NC become informed that their own state already has a similar ban.

The reaction is priceless.

"Before you bash others, how about showing some success in your own state?"

[–]SonsOfLiberty86 2 points3 points ago

Because on the internet people spend a lot more time judging others than reflecting on their own issues.

[–]yourdadsbff 1 point2 points ago

Bad timing on your state's part. Whereas a state probably wouldn't have taken much (if any) shit for voting into law a (superfluous) ban on same-sex unions even ten years ago, nowadays "around half" the country--not to mention, like, much of the rest of the Western world that you'd find on sites like reddit--will call out that kind of behavior.

Still, you're right in that it is indeed a form of hypocrisy. Perhaps the priceless reaction will lead them to get slightly more knowledgeable about their state's LGBT legislation, which would be quite the fabulous silver lining.

[–]ech0-chris 0 points1 point ago

I'm from FL and I'm very sure we have an amendment here already that defines it between a man and a woman.

EDIT: "In a stunning announcement the Obama Administration just announced that it will no longer enforce a federal law barring gay marriage. In Florida, a constitutional amendment which bans same-sex marriages passed with 61% of the vote."

http://www.jacksonvilledivorceattorneyblog.com/2011/02/gay-marriage-in-florida-are-the-florida-tides-turning.html

[–]GazzaC 10 points11 points ago

Possibly to signify that some people now think that it is ok to bully gays because of the ban on gay marriage. It just shows perfectly how they are trying to make them look like second class citizens and it appears to be working in some places.

[–]drachenstern 3 points4 points ago

I think the parents point was "the amendment in NC had nothing to do with gay marriage, gay marriage was already illegal there", which is apparently a little known fact.

Reread the proposed amendment (I only acknowledge it as proposed, because I don't believe in the capacity to remove a right previously granted by state law. They've removed all common law marriage and domestic partnerships of any sort, MF, FF, MM, and that's a revocation of rights of MF couples that were previously ok.)

[–]jlking3 1 point2 points ago

I don't believe in the capacity to remove a right previously granted by state law.

You mean like the right to own slaves.

[–]drachenstern 0 points1 point ago

Good call. However, was owning others for business purposes ever a right? Or just a freedom to pursue us ones interests

Damnit, now I gotta think this response out more better :-/

[–]drachenstern 0 points1 point ago

Let's try this: a fundamental human right (such as the right to choose who to spend time with) is non-infringing on the rights of any other.

If a "right" infringes on the rights of others, it should and can be legislated.

Mutually choosing to hold hands, kiss, watch each other change or whatever (mutual consent being of primary importance) in no way infringes on the rights of any other.

Slavery infringes on others rights.

Fuck words, I imagine there's a simple phrase that captures this essence.

[–]jlking3 1 point2 points ago

I see where you're going with this and I agree with you. I just want to play Devil's advocate for a moment.

If I want to spend time with Sue and you want to spend time with Sue, your spending time with Sue infringes on my right to spend time with Sue, unless she wanted to spend time with both of us together at the same time, which might not be what either one of us had intended.

Sometimes it's more complex than it seems, and there's a careful balancing act of preserving as many rights for as many people as possible. If someone who has traditionally enjoyed more freedom (at the expense of the freedom of others) perceives their freedom to be diminished, even as more people gain freedom than lose it, you'll hear claims of infringing on someone's rights.

[–]ech0-chris 0 points1 point ago

Yeah, the law didn't do that.

[–]killdie 204 points205 points ago

this is fake

[–]ani625 53 points54 points ago

If it's on the internet, it's true, bro.

[–]chatzimcfee 31 points32 points ago

yea. i heard the government takes stuff down if it isn't true.

[–]Flagyl400 5 points6 points ago

He's got a website, you say? Well they don't let just anyone have one of those.

[–]Mr-duck 4 points5 points ago

Most likely from the website Dear blank, please blank.

[–]kelseycakes 149 points150 points ago

[–]usedtowork 11 points12 points ago

[–]uglylaughingman 3 points4 points ago

and suddenly, I get the oil company commercial in my head: "Would people really make some cool shit up just for imaginary internet points?"

"People would." (logo, tm).

[–]harrisz2 44 points45 points ago

This was refreshing

[–]Creative_Circlejerk 4 points5 points ago

I'll upvote you because I was mentally preparing to look at that terrible breadface guy again :S but then it was just a nice rabbit! :)

[–]NintendoGal 15 points16 points ago

I just found out tonight it's called the Yaranaika face:

http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/yaranaika-%E3%82%84%E3%82%89%E3%81%AA%E3%81%84%E3%81%8B

[–]Eat_Every_Vegan 9 points10 points ago

That's Buster damn it!

[–]nikoliko66 1 point2 points ago

reddit loves fake shit, as long as makes them feel good inside. see http://www.reddit.com/r/pics/comments/tsvbg/i_am_autistic_they_said_i_would_never_graduate/

[–]iamdanhi 4 points5 points ago

What is with reddit calling every facebook and sms picture fake? I'm betting most are but do you have an actual proof and do we need to yell it out in every thread?

[–]morkskogen 59 points60 points ago

Well this one looks fake because why would they write a note? If this guy is a linebacker threatening violence you think he'd have the balls to say it to the bully's face. Also where would you post this? The bully noticeboard?

Either he's not a linebacker, or none of this is true at all

[–]VictorRomeo 11 points12 points ago

The thing with these post is there's no context to the note/letter/relationship in the photo. It's usually just a close-up of some printed/hand-written page that I could do in my home.

[–]seashanty 5 points6 points ago

Maybe he doesn't personally know which kid it is?

[–]Whirledpeas1129 2 points3 points ago

Possibly. We don't know the details. Maybe the kid getting bullied has had his tires slashed or threatening notes in his locker. In circumstances like that, a note written to the anonymous bully makes sense.

[–]nirolo 4 points5 points ago

I imagine a real life conversation with some of these people would go something like this

"I had a really nice ham sandwich for lunch today"

"PROVE IT YOU LIAR!!"

[–]steviesteveo12 7 points8 points ago

Nah, it would go:

"I had a really nice ham sandwich for lunch today"

"Where from?"

"Oh, the new place on 5th"

"THERE IS NO SANDWICH SHOP ON 5TH"

http://gifsoup.com/webroot/animatedgifs/188477_o.gif

[–]MonkeeSage 1 point2 points ago

Because most of us are skeptical, and demand evidence before we believe a claim. Also, our experience has led us to believe that these types of things have a tendency to be more likely fake that true.

[–]iamdanhi 1 point2 points ago

Because most of us are skeptical, and demand evidence before we believe a claim.

Really? I thought much of reddit had a tendency to jump to conclusions without evidence more often than not.

[–]MonkeeSage 0 points1 point ago

Hypocrisy is a hell of a drug. Seriously, though, for a community espousing such ideals, we do all too often accept a claim based on flimsy evidence and jump to a predetermined conclusion. Bad reddit.

[–]fuckyoufuckyou666 1 point2 points ago

and gay.

[–]redfive5tandingby 75 points76 points ago

Where was this posted? Why not confront the person more openly in a way that actually defends the victim of bullying? I only ask because there's a large difference between voicing support for a peer in front of an audience and forcing a bully to shut up or speak out and passive-aggressively printing out an "I wish I could say this" letter and posting it to the internet. Doesn't feel much more brave than bullying if it's the latter, which is why I ask.

[–]w_a_w 24 points25 points ago

On Reddit. It is 100% fiction for karma.

[–]Kangster_ 8 points9 points ago

Probably cuase he's afraid the bully will make fun of him for having gay parents

[–]yourdadsbff 0 points1 point ago

Yes, but I mean, how many linebackers can there be at the "school" where this note "was spotted"?

[–]Dannyb0y 7 points8 points ago

Because doing something like you mentioned gets the linebacker kid suspended. Better to do something like this and hope it gets the message across.

[–]MrNameless 14 points15 points ago

Confronting him verbally with no witnesses will get the kid suspended, but leaving a written letter threatening the kid will in the clear?

I mean, this is fake as Hell so it doesn't matter, but assuming this is true, verbally is the way to go.

[–]steviesteveo12 3 points4 points ago

Oh yeah, everyone knows that if you want to get away with something you deliver it in writing.

[–]mirvnillith 1 point2 points ago

But a public note targets both known and unknown assailants and also signals the target.

[–]hardwarequestions 2 points3 points ago

it's also a public declaration of intended violence against someone. schools really don't take kindly to that anymore.

[–]steviesteveo12 0 points1 point ago

To be honest, I don't think there was ever a time that a school would be OK with a notice being posted by a student containing dares about fights.

[–]mirvnillith 0 points1 point ago

Ok, the message is not a good one, but adjusted to "do unto others" a public message is better, for the victim, than private confrontations.

[–]Dannyb0y 0 points1 point ago

redfive was talking about openly doing it. Reddit is a hungry puppy with bleeding hearts that never think anything is good enough, have a good one.

[–]nos2121 14 points15 points ago

Uh why does one have to be more brave than the bully to stop him? I'm really not following your logic here. Assuming this is real, then it's an easy, passive way to avoid confrontation while stopping the perpetrator.

[–]tripinbalz 24 points25 points ago

You never went to high school, did you?

[–]nixonrichard 8 points9 points ago

Threatening physical violence is rarely considered "passive" or "avoiding confrontation."

If you go around telling people you're going to beat the shit out of them if they don't comply with your demand (even if you're merely demanding they follow an existing rule) that's called "bullying."

[–]siegewolf 0 points1 point ago

I wanted to say passive in another post, but you're totally right. Instead, he should have dropped a dildo in his locker every day. Then hire a male dancer to give him a lap dance during lunch hours. Yeah, that'll show him. Man is that the best passive aggressive idea I could think of? Shame.

[–]Whirledpeas1129 0 points1 point ago

It's possible that they don't know who the offending person is. A bully can easily be anonymous these days, or at any time really. The gay boy might be getting hate notes, or tires slashed, or something else that would keep him from knowing who it is that's doing the bullying. If those are the circumstances, then it makes perfect sense the linebacker would post a note.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point ago

I think this is just completely passive

[–]wordy_ist_nerdy 0 points1 point ago

Assuming it is legit for a moment, an anonymous message is more effective for several reasons. First, if the bully doesn't know which linebacker has two dads, he has to be worried about all the linebackers. Even if he does know which linebacker it is, the rest of the football team may side with the linebacker, if he's sufficiently popular. And the linebacker himself has plausible deniability with respect to the note, since it is just typed, unless the go all CSI on him.

[–]acog 0 points1 point ago

I wouldn't over think this; it's fake as hell.

[–]ivebeenhereallsummer 0 points1 point ago

Because it's faaaaake!

[–]RedIceBreaker 4 points5 points ago

Why doesn't he confront the bully instead of just leaving notes?

[–]SimonAdebisi 11 points12 points ago

That's just not how girls do things.

[–]RedIceBreaker 0 points1 point ago

As a girl, he/she should still confront the bully.

[–]SimonAdebisi 5 points6 points ago

THAT'S JUST NOT HOW GIRLS DO THINGS!

[–]Whirledpeas1129 0 points1 point ago

Maybe he doesn't know who it is. People can bully anonymously.

[–]Offensive_Brute 0 points1 point ago

cause his gay dads aint raise him with no cojones. So he leaves a threatening letter on rose scented parchment paper.

[–]bastard_thought 4 points5 points ago

Nope, sorry, there isn't a new law in North Carolina based on homosexuality.

[–]necrosxiaoban 2 points3 points ago

Exactly! North Carolina passed an amendment which only affirmed existing law.

That said, bullying anyone, for any reason, is terrible.

[–]Rdtackle82 36 points37 points ago

*fabulous dads

[–]corndog88 0 points1 point ago

*Fantabulous

[–]actusual 8 points9 points ago

This is fake, I mean come on, they clearly spelled "ice dancer" wrong.

[–]reneepussman 3 points4 points ago

I'm only 12% certain that this is legit.

[–]bastard_thought 1 point2 points ago

I'm only 12% and what is this?

[–]tide88 3 points4 points ago

Cause this is totally not fake or anything.

[–]n3rvousninja 8 points9 points ago

BRILLIANT!!! Lets threaten people until they are all accepting of other people's differences!

[–]LostIcelander 0 points1 point ago

Better then beating them though which I would probably rather do.

Everybody gets one with this guy at least.

[–]philotimon 0 points1 point ago

No, just leave them alone. Don't bully the gay kid.

[–]crankytech 18 points19 points ago

Is this a screenshot from Glee?

[–]MbMn91 14 points15 points ago

liek dis if u cry everetime

[–]Ewalk 12 points13 points ago

It's not a new law here in NC. It's a constitutional amendment saying that marriage is between a man and a woman.

At least know your fucking opponents.

[–]thesawx 2 points3 points ago

Damn it, can't we go back to making fun of South Carolina and Mississippi again?

[–]Aleksander73 2 points3 points ago

I'm not buyin it.

[–]Ranikins 2 points3 points ago

I somewhat suspct the OP doesn't understand bullying. I'm sure anything like this would stop anything...

[–]LostIcelander 0 points1 point ago

Some people say walking away is the right thing to do, other say answer fire with fire.

[–]blister_on_the_sun 2 points3 points ago

so much made up bullshit here, no sources to back this up, OP most likely made it themselves

[–]cttouch 2 points3 points ago

I agree with what he is doing but violence begets violence. If he hurts the bully he is perpetuating the cycle.

[–]doctorpotterhead 2 points3 points ago

Faith in humanity restored!

[–]zumu 7 points8 points ago

Violence is OK, if you're dads are gay.

[–]The_Cockamouse 3 points4 points ago

I've been finding lately that dearblankpleaseblank.com is no longer original... Which kind of sucks because it used to be really funny.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points ago

Ok...so I read your comment, go onto dearblankpleaseblank.com for the first time, and all I can think is: "Who the fuck keeps voting all these submissions 'you're a douche' ?"

Even for posts that are sweet, sincere, and hilarious all at the same time, there are at least 25 'douche' votes. The longer I read, the more I was certain that a few dozen people made accounts just to click 'douche' all the way down the rows of new posts like some sort of fun-sucking internet vampires.

Wait, that's exactly what they did. It's the fucking internet...

Carry on.

[–]The_Cockamouse 1 point2 points ago

There are no happy or sincere posts that don't get a few "you're a douche." Which is kind of sad but... internets... lol. I left that site because I felt like no one was original anymore and people were trying much too hard and there was just too much dumb stuff on it.

[–]wetalkinbigmoney 2 points3 points ago

That site always had people who tried a bit too hard. But this is from dearblankpleaseblank from at least a year ago.

[–]The_Cockamouse 1 point2 points ago

There we go, that's another thing that is REALLY irritating.

[–]T-Luv 11 points12 points ago

He should actually tell that guy to stop, rather than waiting for him to lay a finger on him, and writing a passive aggressive note that he will never read. If this is even something a real person actually thought to say based on something that really happened.

[–]HE_WHO_STANDS_TO_POO 10 points11 points ago

Gotta admit, though, if someone anonymously wrote me a letter like that, it would at least make me hesitate to mess with that kid again. And at the most make me paranoid for the rest of the school year.

[–]rasputine 2 points3 points ago

Not passive aggressive.

[–]duhcassinidivision 1 point2 points ago

I can't see a linebacker using that font. FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points ago

Fake...

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points ago

If this was from a cop to a crimminal it would read:

  • Dear Crimminal committing crimes, IF YOU EVEN COMMIT SOME MORE CRIMES I WILL ARREST YOU, Sincerely The Law

Dear Linebacker: just beat the guy up, he's already bullying someone who's gay, punch worthey

[–]murphykills 1 point2 points ago

i feel like if this were real it would go something like "dear mike, i dare you to lay a finger on john. sincerely, brett"

[–]phreeck 1 point2 points ago

I didn't know that NC passed a law that allowed unpunished torment of gay people.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points ago

Why do you say after the new law in NC?? Like people weren't against gays until the law in NC was passed....People don't realize the Amendment didn't really have too much to do with gays. Gay marriage was ALREADY outlawed in NC.

[–]whoisearth 1 point2 points ago

Ya, cause exactly what we need is parents and other kids perpetuating the same cycle of violence and hatred....

[–]aletoledo 1 point2 points ago

There seems to be a lot of misunderstanding about the recent NC law. It doesn't ban homosexuality, it only regulates marriage. Sexuality != marriage.

[–]TychoCelchu 1 point2 points ago

Don't do it because it is wrong but rather don't do it because I will hurt you.

This is how adults works.

[–]GanjaSoldier 1 point2 points ago

It's a nice sentiment and I'm really glad to see him sticking up for his classmate, but...Linebackers are pussies. You should fear the Linemen.

Source: Played Nose Guard in a 3-4 defense in High school and could tear a Linebacker to pieces.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points ago

Why did that almost make me cry?

[–]Zebulon_V 1 point2 points ago

WTF is this? It could just have easily been from CA as from NC. Also- "I'm suprised he's not a tight end"- the most upvoted comment in this thread. How is that any better than the hicks who voted for Amendment One?

[–]SmokeyDBear 2 points3 points ago

Because the hicks who voted for it are from the south and therefore more bigotted than anyone from any other part of the country. Everyone from the south is just a bigotted jerk who makes generalizations about entire groups of people based on common stereotypes rather than actual experiences with people from that group and people from other parts of the country would never do such a thing.

[–]muffycr 2 points3 points ago

I think this is sarcasm...

[–]SmokeyDBear 1 point2 points ago

Show's what you know.

[–]Zebulon_V 1 point2 points ago

I see what you did there.

[–]EvrythingISayIsRight 4 points5 points ago

Solving violence with violence. So mature.

[–]Offensive_Brute 0 points1 point ago

Thats how we do things in Murica!

Solving violence with threats of violence.

FTFY

This is one of the stupidest most pointless posts I've ever seen on reddit.

I've lived in NC my whole life (at least that I can remember) and I have not once seen a gay kid made fun of. People say "That's soooooo gay", however if they know a gay kid is in the room, they will stop saying it. I think this is getting blown a bit out of proportion...

[–]LostIcelander 0 points1 point ago

Silent discrimination is still wrong IMO.

...but i agree, it's getting blown out of proportion...

I just threw up in my mouth

Jerry Tate: Pro-gay highschool linebacker.

[–]smurfintime 0 points1 point ago

Thing is, the bully could still be doing a lot of damage without laying a finger on him.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point ago

His angus needs to be peppered.

[–]jrfulbright 0 points1 point ago

Just a small point: homosexual marriage was already illegal in NC. The conservatives thought we should double down and add that exclusion as an amendment to the state constitution.

[–]thetoecutter10 0 points1 point ago

None of the laws nor arguments presented with homosexual marriage have anything to do with bullying. Also you don't need to be gay to beat up the jackass picking on gay people. Being self-righteous is kinda what got this mess started so go ahead keep continuing the cycle.

[–]BrianRampage 0 points1 point ago

The phrasing makes it seem like the linebacker is perfectly fine with the bullying of the gay kids that aren't open about it.

[–]urchant 0 points1 point ago

In high school I played football and was a lineman. For whatever reason the coach decided to move me to the center position. You kind of ignore the fact that another man's hands are on your ass/by your nuts because you're too worried about short snapping it and hitting yourself in the nuts.

[–]busted_up_chiffarobe 0 points1 point ago

The linebacker who would go to prison for laying a finger on the bully.

[–]superstu321 0 points1 point ago

ohhh now football players aren't just meatheads.
