My cat used to do this after I cooked spaghetti. I accidentally dropped a noodle on him and it kind of stuck to his back, he went full retard running full speed through all of my rooms.

So naturally, every time I cooked spaghetti after this, I would throw a noodle at him.

I moved across the country on a whim some years ago and my roommate had a cat. I love animals so it was hanging in my room, snooping around my stuff after I'd just moved in. A few minutes later I hear what sounds like a crash, like glass breaking, so I investigate. I turn the corner from my room and I see that his cat is running full speed, with a plastic bag hanging off its back end. The house had a little island type thing in the middle, and the cat was doing laps around it, jumping on the walls at times and making this hushed moan of distress the whole way. And the whole time it's peeing like crazy and spreading an almost full bag of sunflower seeds EVERYWHERE.

When I'd finally managed to get the bag off, the area around the island (hallway, living room, a little of the kitchen) was covered in urine and sunflower seeds and the cat was FREAKED out. It was kind of amazing.

My cat had an experience like this. He liked to get in plastic bags. But normally they were stored away. He found one, when no one was home and got stuck in it. He must have run all over the house and finally, i found him in the bedroom, on the bed. He wedged himself in the pillows. The handle was around his neck, but the rest of the bag was in tatters. He had pooped and peed himself in his fear. Poor thing. I imagine he climbed on the bed because it smelled the most of me, and he felt safer there. I removed the bag, cleaned him up (NO i did not use my tongue). He is now afraid of the noise a plastic bag makes. He still LOVES to get in a large blue Ikea bag and act like an idiot.

Haha! That cat will now forever hate plastic bags. My cat was playing with a fish on a string once... He got it wrapped around his tail and it started following him. He did not like this and proceeded to run full blast through the house till I could catch him and unwrap it from his tail with the fear of God written on his face. Now, if there's a toy with a string attached to it, he has absolutely nothing to do with it, lol.

Reminds me of my last vacation to Florida. Crashed at a buddy's place, he had a black cat. Anyway. Long night of drinking and I passed out on the couch. Woke up to a thud. Decided to put my glasses on and I saw his cat streaking around like Mario Andretti.

Looked at my smokes, a cigarette I had left out was eaten to the filter. Kitty was having a nic rush.

Few weeks pass, and I got a message. Due to my influence, Kitty had become addicted to nicotine. While my friend was away on business, Kitty had gone through the trash and was eating spent dip pouches. And the. Proceeded to have some sort of meth head kitty cat nuclear meltdown. Cats fine meow, he was on the patch last I heard.

I have two cats and after grocery shopping I leave one paper bag open on the floor

One of the cats will run full speed into the bag and it will slide across the room and then she sits there and waits...eventually the other cat will slowly approach the open side and peek in...that's when the first cat springs out and scares her

My cat did that, only he climbed the curtains and got stuck inside the bag after the handle got hung up on the end of the curtain rod. By the time I checked on the commotion and found him, he had pissed himself and was soaked inside the bag. Needless to say he freaks out whenever he even hears the sound of a plastic bag, much less sees one.

My mom's cat did something similar. My mom had gone shopping and left the plastic bags in a pile at the top of the stairs to take downstairs. I saw her cat playing with the bags, then it actually got inside one, and freaked out. It took off ... right off the top of the stairs. I hear BAM BAM BAM(the cat hitting each stair on the way down). Once I realized the cat was ok, it was hilarious.

One afternoon about 6 years ago me and my friend decided it would be funny to rubber band a plastic bag to his cat, Miss Purdy's tail. When it first went on she kind of just sat there pawing at it, but once it made noise she went into full on crackhead mode.
