I've been with the same woman for over two years and today she attepmted (unsuccesfully) to break up with me via text. I post to this subreddit for the following reasons: When we first started dating we used to constantly fight over how religious she and her family was and how she belonged to a cult called The Way. Eventually I was able to learn all of her beliefs, which included that tounges would keep away demons and that the devil created mosquitoes into the current for through evil, and not long after she began to renounce those beliefs and as she did higher learning (community college) and was shown more. Back to today, after she send me a message and a short reply I called and talked her down from the ledge, metaphorically speaking, and in the negotation she mentioned our paths diverging, our allegided different wants in life, and finally how she wasn't "the atheist girl" I wanted her to be. I'm going to be speaking to her soon and I believe I will call an end to her qualms, but could you provide me with any advise on what course to take, general advise, and how this reflects our relationship along with any opinions on my tale of woe. TL;DR Gf tried to break up because of "faith"
