Rules

  1. No screenshots, or pictures with added or superimposed text. This includes image macros, comics, info-graphics and most diagrams. Text (e.g. a URL) serving to credit the original author is exempt.

  2. No gore or porn. NSFW content must be tagged.

  3. No personal information. This includes anything hosted on Facebook's servers, as they can be traced to the original account holder. Stalking & harassment will not be tolerated.

  4. No solicitation of votes (including "cake day" posts), posts with their sole purpose being to communicate with another redditor, or [FIXED] posts. DAE posts go in /r/DoesAnybodyElse. "Fixed" posts should be added as a comment to the original image.

  5. Submissions must link directly to a specific image file or to an image hosting website with minimal ads. We do not allow blog hosting of images ("blogspam"), but links to albums on image hosting websites are okay. URL shorteners are prohibited.

  • If your submission appears to be filtered but definitely meets the above rules, please send us a message with a link to the comments section of your post (not a direct link to the image). Don't delete it as that just makes the filter hate you!

  • If you come across any rule violations, please report the submission or message the mods and one of us will remove it!

Please also try to come up with original post titles. Submissions that use certain clichés/memes will be automatically tagged with a warning.

If you're going to impress me show me the cables and switch box!

[–]GamerBum 475 points476 points ago

That's the one thing I WANT to see.

[–]lostpasswordagain 132 points133 points ago

Here is a video tour and his youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/16bitghost?ob=0

[–]deepfryerdan 53 points54 points ago

I concur, I came to the comments for some insight as to how he set that shit up. I have quite a few systems myself but the main thing stopping me is being able to hook all of them up at once (or at least without nested video switchers). But alas, no solutions..

[–]DMthePerson 14 points15 points ago

I believe there's some sort of device you can plug into an extension cable to make it less dangerous with twelve-or-so devices plugged into it. This is what James Rolfe (Angry Video Game Nerd) uses, but his setup is a total mess.

[–]ChickinSammich 11 points12 points ago

Ditto. I wanna see the cable clusterfuck in the rear.

[–]glenlikespie 257 points258 points ago

You will like this

[–]nate81 469 points470 points ago

why the fuck did i just spend 15 minutes looking at cables?

[–]bbooth76 458 points459 points ago

Cable porn meant something different when I was a lad.

[–]Breathing_Balls 45 points46 points ago

When I was a lad, I had to frequent corner shops, to purchase a top shelf jizz magazine. There was no digital delight in my day.

[–]Uncle_Matula 109 points110 points ago

Luxury! In my day we had to find box o'porn on t'railway tracks, then go home and beat off in silence so as not to wake up me 65 brothers, then get up at four in morning and go down t'pit.

[–]MisterBTS 60 points61 points ago

Veritable paradise! When I was a lad I had to fap to line drawings scratched in cobblestones by my own bleeding fingers, and my Dad beat me around the head and neck with a broken bottle all the while. When I was done he would kill me, pack my carcass into a shoebox, bury me in a cesspool and dance on my grave singing 'Hallelujah!'

[–]throbbing_banjo 57 points58 points ago

Oh, I would have loved to have been able to fap to cobblestone etchings! Back in my day, I had to walk six miles up a mountain of broken glass, barefoot, to watch an old pair of goats hump next to a nunnery, where the sisters would shoot me with a cannon and beat me with reeds. I'd have to go back home, six miles uphill again, quickly fap out behind the checken shack in the rain, and when I got home, me ol' dad would slice me in two with a breadknife.

[–]sensedata 10 points11 points ago

When I was a we lad all we had was a circle drawn on a cave wall

[–]Thecrumblingcookie 4 points5 points ago

Heaven, pure heaven ya nancy. When I was a boy, a group of men came into me room and told me my voice was too beautiful to be spoiled by age, and cut me danglers then and there. I've never been able to fap.

[–]yurt-dweller 2 points3 points ago

When you tell this to kids these days... they don't believe you.

[–]bakerac4 7 points8 points ago

[–]Yeahdude7 41 points42 points ago

A subreddit full of colour-coded OCD.

[–]randomsnark 10 points11 points ago

That description just makes me think of this tumblr

[–]RidiculousIncarnate 9 points10 points ago

I'm not really OCD about things but I wont lie... looking at this tumblr made me feel relaxed and somewhat content that everything was where it should be.

[–]randomsnark 5 points6 points ago

Yeah, it's hard to explain why really. I mean, my room is a huge mess, as is my desk, and so on and so forth. But scrolling through that tumblr has an interesting effect on my brain.

[–]jordankw 13 points14 points ago

This is the first *-Porn subreddit that I've really liked

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points ago

aaaand subscribed.

[–]Defiant001 3 points4 points ago

Well, there goes my morning looking at this, and my weekend making my setup look like it.

[–]GotMeFaded 2 points3 points ago

Thank you. I can actually appreciate this subreddit. I love cables. So much. Subscribe subscribe subscribe

[–]prmaster23 56 points57 points ago

[–]klyonrad 16 points17 points ago

here are more photos. http://pseudomacro.wordpress.com/2012/04/29/petes-collection/

so many pictures and none about the cable/switch-setup >.<

[–]insufficient_funds 6 points7 points ago

he briefly discusses it in the video.. 4 automatic switchers, 2 running component, 1 s-video, 1 composite

[–]crank1000 70 points71 points ago

I highly suspect this is just for show. The video switcher for that setup would be absurd, and likely doesn't exist.

[–]radioshaq115 27 points28 points ago

Actually it is possible, albeit difficult. I remember watching a video of the Angry Video Game Nerd talking about his set up and how he can have so many video game systems set up on one television. It takes some work, quite a few switchers and quite a few surge protectors but it is possible.

[–]Bipolarruledout 44 points45 points ago

Anything is possible with a rack and enough money.

[–]shitakefunshrooms 129 points130 points ago

yup, thats what my ex told me when she decided to leave my ass

[–]sirbruce 23 points24 points ago

So in other words... that's what she said?

[–]Cueball61 12 points13 points ago

You can very easily get a 24x24 video matrix switcher, or any other number, they're just not cheap. That's 24 inputs and 24 outputs. You can get them in an assortment of input and output counts too.

Then you just have to get HDMI adapters for each cable type.

[–]HyzerFlip 65 points66 points ago

As a guy that made a similar setup... Don't ask.

Mine wasn't as complete... But.. I'm sorry for the crimes I've committed.

[–]Zhang5 56 points57 points ago

Let me guess: you had switchers that lead into upper level switchers; a nasty mess of forking device selection?

[–]HyzerFlip 48 points49 points ago

Remember the age of many of these systems.

Two terrible terrible words.

Daisy Chain.

Edit: typo.

[–]TheDrunkenChud 2 points3 points ago

that's what i was thinking. for over half those systems you would have a 10foot long co-ax daisy chain. the rest on switchers.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points ago

Is that where you go co-axle, into co-axle, into co-axle? You know this thing.

[–]EbonPinion 15 points16 points ago

Upper switcher to choose columns, lower switchers for rows. That's not too bad.

[–]BeJeezus 14 points15 points ago

But first you have to get them all into the same format. RCA?

[–]EbonPinion 9 points10 points ago

Oh, yeah, that would be the hell reserved for people who rape people while ALREADY IN HELL. Once you had it wired though, SEXY.

[–]Bruce_Bruce 9 points10 points ago

In theory, he (or she) would have 8 switch boxes. But that's depending if OP's "Friend" has a special switchbox that supports HDMI (and or optical).

[–]immadgottadownvote 1347 points1348 points ago

If Steam has taught me anything, it is that boredom strikes ruthlessly, regardless of the number of games you have :(.

[–]elustran 148 points149 points ago

Either that or you wind up dumping hundreds of hours into only a handful, especially if you're playing multiplayer or sandbox games.

Also: Decision Fatigue - it can literally be so tiresome to decide from plentiful choices that the quality of your choice degrades or you even make no choice whatsoever.

[–]zanmanoodle 81 points82 points ago

That explains my experience with Skyrim. I once spent about 20 minutes straight standing on top of some mountain paralyzed with the number of options of what to do next.

[–]powatom 53 points54 points ago

There's nothing to do but Trick Shots

[–]undeadhobo 6 points7 points ago

I thought that said "Trick Shouts", and was expecting a montage of using fus roh dah to launch ragdolls in amusing trajectories.

[–]PoeticEnd 36 points37 points ago

There are a couple of things that can help, I find.

Step one: Pick three games you want to be able to play. That's it. Just three. Can't play any others till you beat it or you're done with it.

Step two: Now make them favorites in Steam and then click "All Games" above your library and change it to "Favorites". Now you have 3 games. Easy choice depending on your mood.

Step two (alternate): Now make shortcuts for those three games on your desktop. Never actually look at Steam, just use the shortcuts. Now you have 3 games. Easy choice depending on your mood.

The only way this won't work is if you're a pussy who is too pussy to play the games he god damn chose to play in the first place. What are you? A weener? A big baby who can't beat games because of "attention problems"?

Yeah I fuck up all the time and stare at my library for waaaay too long. I'm a big baby. :(

[–]remondo 22 points23 points ago

When you get the 10 hours on 1 server achievement on Gmod it's time to go outside.

[–]sithmaster0 62 points63 points ago

only 10? I've got the "1 year on gmod" achievement. What the fuck is the sun?

[–]Failociraptor 13 points14 points ago

Agoraphobia has its advantages...

[–]frost000 18 points19 points ago

TIL why I make shitty decisions all the time...

[–]KevinJD 2 points3 points ago

I prefer the choice paradox, or choice paralysis.

http://www.ted.com/talks/barry_schwartz_on_the_paradox_of_choice.html

[–]ireadanddontpost 2 points3 points ago

I think Decision Fatigue might be the original, ultimate First World Problem. Possibly generalized to 'Post-Scarcity Society' problem.

[–]volt1up 561 points562 points ago

[–]DistinctlyBenign 397 points398 points ago

This is the first I've heard of Tricky Truck. But from that screenshot alone I know I would be terrible at it.

So I'm off to play it now.

[–]IceIceIceIceIceIce 283 points284 points ago

It's like Octodad, takes a moment to learn, a lifetime to master.

If anyone is wondering, Octodad is where you play as an octopus in a suit, masquerading as a human being in day-to-day life.

Ain't easy bein' cephalopod.

[–]BoreasBlack 99 points100 points ago

Ahem... Some corrections...

If anyone is wondering, Octodad is where you play a loving human father who has some difficulty performing some various human tasks due to clumsiness, even though he is perfectly human and there is nothing suspicious about him at all.

[–]lgspeck 101 points102 points ago

It sounds like the producers made a normal shitty game and the controls sucked and they decided to replace the dad with an octopus. Genius.

[–]uneditablepoly 24 points25 points ago

If that is the case, that is the most brilliant move in gaming.

[–]EbonPinion 118 points119 points ago

I need this game so bad now.

[–]shalfurn 58 points59 points ago

Shouldn't be too hard, it is free!

[–]Real-Life-Reddit 39 points40 points ago

Not if your an octopus.

[–]NyoZa 44 points45 points ago

*you're

[–]cresteh 12 points13 points ago

Give him a break, he said he was an octopus.

[–]Ltsmash99 2 points3 points ago

i nearly pee'd myself watching the trailer. pure hilarity

[–]oD3 9 points10 points ago

This looks absolutely incredible. What an amazing concept.

[–]donalmacc 2 points3 points ago

There's a sequel to this too....

[–]rhombus2210 2 points3 points ago

I hear they're making a sequel! Octomom!

[–]earbox 2 points3 points ago

So it's QWOP off the track.

[–]broaf 6 points7 points ago

I have the demo. It is ridiculous. Definitely don't try to drink and Tricky Truck

[–]H3000 4 points5 points ago

TTUI.

[–]Rangourthaman_ 21 points22 points ago

When searching for 'tricky truck' on steam it brings up HL2.

[–]iamnull 40 points41 points ago

This appears to be the game: http://www.gravitysensation.com/trickytruck/

[–]guayec 25 points26 points ago

couldnt stop watching. simple concept games are the best.

[–]Ph0X 18 points19 points ago

Pretty much. There are all these AAA games out there, but at the end of the day, I can never get myself to launch and play those, but I keep playing all these 5-10 minute games with original concept every day and have shit load of fun.

[–]hakkzpets 5 points6 points ago

This looks so much fun. Guess Diablo 3 can wait.

[–]jb2386 2 points3 points ago

Holy shit that game looks amazing. (Not joking)

[–]kjcdude 2 points3 points ago

fuck that game, it's so god dam hard!

[–]Eat_Every_Vegan 2 points3 points ago

Is this the dam tour?

[–]Switche 45 points46 points ago

Considering how expensive many of these older systems and games are if you haven't somehow kept all of yours healthy over all these years, I have never felt emulation to be quite so evil as typical piracy.

So in that scenario, you literally have every game available to you, and I dare you to resist sticking to those carts you actually used to own. You can even buy USB versions of most of these original controllers to complete your emulation.

Shit, I've even set up my old TI 99/4A and Apple IIe lately to keep the nostalgia train going.

The fact is you won't want to play most of those games when you get a craving. Most people will at best want to play one of them every now and then.

This setup is still great to have. It's a collector's setup, but it's usable. Considering the ease of emulation, this is something special that really isn't even about the games anymore as it is having a playable enthusiast's collection. My systems are all taking up a lot of space, poorly organized, and will undoubtedly have to move again in the future. This is set up as a display, and may be able to stay there forever if OP owns that house.

[–]Anonazon2 36 points37 points ago

You jelly

[–]nvr_ndr21_13 10 points11 points ago

Truer words have never been spoken. Constantly up late at night and can't sleep, decide "hey i'll play something on steam" look at all 190+ games an decide "uuugh! There is nothing to play!" Lol

[–]blunderchief 6 points7 points ago

Yep. I had 25 different game consoles at one time, with anywhere from 3 to over a hundred games for each one, and I would still get terribly bored and have absolutely no desire to play any of them.

[–]MrPolymath 320 points321 points ago

Pretty sure the OP of this thread does NOT know him. This picture is taken from my sister's bf's blog (http://pseudomacro.wordpress.com/2012/04/29/petes-collection/). I DO know this guy (almost 20 years). Please check out his YouTube channel, he's done LOTS of videos on it: http://www.youtube.com/user/16bitghost

[–]undervu 19 points20 points ago

Thank you fot the real story.

[–]cdahlkvist 34 points35 points ago

OP just got deadcoiled.

[–]beebhead 2 points3 points ago

Did you see that deadcoil wasn't lying after all though?

[–]cdahlkvist 2 points3 points ago

Yes, I know. I just thought "being deadcoiled" was a funny term.

Just like finding out Scumbag Steve isn't actually a scumbag.

[–]nihilion_Zero 5 points6 points ago

What is he going to do when another game system comes out?

[–]aguywhoisme 4 points5 points ago

Acquire photos of the cable management!

[–]Architration 194 points195 points ago

But...but...there's no order. WHERE IS THE ORDER?!?

[–]MrPolymath 79 points80 points ago

He ordered it by size. Widest systems in the middle, decreasing width going out. I know because he told me.

[–]meatgazer 27 points28 points ago

You're doing it wrong!! At least system archetype accordingly...

[–]AtomicDog1471 16 points17 points ago

z80 processors to the left, motorola 6800s to the right

[–]directhex 8 points9 points ago

Here I am, stuck in the middle with you?

[–]vowell1055 2 points3 points ago

I would have had to go chronological.

[–]DarkReaver1337 126 points127 points ago

So no wii or Xbox 360? It is incomplete!

[–]mooch1034 25 points26 points ago

I don't see a Sega Saturn either...

[–]natedubbya 2 points3 points ago

He says the 360 is in a different room because his son plays it so much. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14se0alUpOY

[–]DEWSHO 7 points8 points ago

Looking for this comment. Especially after I saw the GOW display on the left. GOW3 for me in 2 hours!! Woo Hoo!

[–]torton312 89 points90 points ago

...Just like how I thought I'd never be bored with the internet, or the numerous PC games I have.

[–][deleted] 52 points53 points ago

I know what you mean. With piracy, you almost have access to any film you want, tv show, book, textbooks, novels, language learning software, tutorials and music. Yet, there never seems like anything to do online.

[–]hobomolester 115 points116 points ago

So much room for activities!

[–]LORDJEW_VAN_CUNTFUCK 26 points27 points ago

I can't figure out what order they're in. It's not by company. It's not by year. What is it?

[–]tasslehof 28 points29 points ago

Autobiographical.. If you want to find Mario 64 he has to remember he bought it in the fall of 83 for someone, and did not hand it over for personal reasons.

[–]breddy 6 points7 points ago

Top 5 game systems - go...

[–]turkish30 2 points3 points ago

Best use of a High Fidelity reference I've seen yet.

[–]oblivision 36 points37 points ago

hint: the PS3 is on top because it doesn't fit.

[–]LaSteff 25 points26 points ago

The PS3's on top because it's the only one he plays.

[–]jb2386 8 points9 points ago

Someone suggested elsewhere it appears by size, wider in the middle, smaller on the sides?

[–]LORDJEW_VAN_CUNTFUCK 7 points8 points ago

I think that's the closest thing to a pattern we're gonna get.

[–]Zer0_Cool 10 points11 points ago

A lot of those consoles will look like crud on that tv.

[–]HiddenText 7 points8 points ago

Unfortunately this is too true.

It has to do with the old CRT monitors being able to display any resolution they wanted by adjusting how many lines it draws on the screen. And while an old CRT television has no problem drawing a 776X402 screen (or whatever the actual ratio was), most modern flat screens can't.

And because they can't display the proper aspect ration, they display the closest approximation, and it looks blocky as hell.

[–]singularity2030 6 points7 points ago

And this is one of several reason that I actually prefer emulators to the original. Still, I get nostalgia overload with this collection and it'd be fantastic to own. I'd just have to hide a PC behind the entertainment center.

[–]DickensOrDrood 90 points91 points ago

You have no idea what it is like being bored upper class and white.

[–]ratguy 16 points17 points ago

It gets me real pissed off and it makes me wanna say Fuuuuuuuck....

[–]shannontara 7 points8 points ago

[–]CloakedAlien 29 points30 points ago

Niiiiiiiice. If it's all hooked up I've met my match, or at least equal =)

We demand more pictures!

Here's my gallery

[–]epsdelta 30 points31 points ago

The Wall of 24 Guardians. You must defeat a game on each, chosen randomly, for the wall to open and...

[–]ShallowBasketcase 44 points45 points ago

Better hope you don't get Superman 64!

[–]babydad 10 points11 points ago

I feel like Superman 64 would STILL be easier than Glover. Fucking Glover, man.

[–]ShallowBasketcase 11 points12 points ago

Superman 64's got the extra insult of also being impossible to enjoy.

[–]thoroughbread 2 points3 points ago

Superman 64 was the biggest disappointment of my childhood. "Oh, Superman! That'll be fun for sure." Holy fuck.

[–]ShallowBasketcase 7 points8 points ago

"Oh no, Lex Luthor's attacking the city! I guess I better... um... fly through these rings? Um, ok?"

[–]Bac-ILL-us 6 points7 points ago

Or Kid Icarus

[–]Coes 9 points10 points ago

Last time I heard, a guy got Battletoads and Super R-Type.

[–]Reavus[S] 23 points24 points ago

EDIT: It turns out that the mate of mine that sent me the pic IS NOT the one who put this all together. The original is here

Geez I feel trolled now. In front of the whole of /r/pics too

Thanks to the Redditors that pointed this out.

[–]BlueBinder 28 points29 points ago

And then, a new console comes along.

[–]tclipse 33 points34 points ago

When he presses a button, the rest of the shelving rises up out of the floor.

[–]mattmachino 15 points16 points ago

Now here is one person that will never need consoling

[–]Macabadus_LFC 7 points8 points ago

Not an Xbox guy eh?

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points ago

Its a nice set up and all, but I think he could have gone with a larger TV

[–]trishamarie1104 2 points3 points ago

...Or 2 tvs so no split screen nonsense

[–]parlayallday 7 points8 points ago

Can someone name all of the consoles I'm curious to know what each of them is.

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points ago

I think that's a CoreGrafx II with Super-CD-Rom on top the stereo reciever. There is a barely visable PS2, partialy out of frame at the bottom left. On the top of the main shelf is a PSP and P-Triple.

Otherwise, I think I'll try to identify the consoles for fun and internet conversation; the cubby-holes -- starting at the top left:

  1. Famicom w/ Floppy drive

  2. Master System II

  3. 7800

  4. PC Engine w/ CD-ROM

  5. NES

  6. The other NES

  7. Super Famicom

  8. Genesis

  9. Neo Geo

  10. IDK, man... What is that? I'm going to take a wild guess that it isn't something that was sold in the U.S.

  11. Turbo Grafix 16

  12. SNES

  13. Genesis

  14. Saturn

  15. 3DO

  16. PC Engine Duo

  17. PS1

  18. Jaguar

  19. Dreamcast

  20. Neo Geo CD

  21. Isn't that a developers XBOX?

  22. PS2

  23. Ultra 64

  24. CubeBox Super LittleDisk

I would like to see him have a cd-i or five, some FM Towns, Master System, and a 2600. There also isn't anything like Intellavision and the similar.

The most amazing console to have is probably a pre-production M2, which you could consider something like a 3DO 2. I stopped bidding on one on eBay when it got to $400.

I sucks to collect consoles now, People on the internet will send you a yellow NES with pizza toppings still dried up on it. Someone wanted $800 for a Neo Geo at the flea market; fak dat gooby. I gave up. Whatever can be emulated.

[–]iaoth 17 points18 points ago

Your friend compresses the shit out of his JPEGs.

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points ago

This isn't your friend. Source

[–]k3wl_username 8 points9 points ago

Always wanted something like this. Pretty cool.

[–]MYDOGSTELLA 33 points34 points ago

[–]theamazingkort 56 points57 points ago

In the kitchen making a sandwich if she knows what's good for her.

[–]formad12 59 points60 points ago

And her name is Sony.

[–]pootman01 2 points3 points ago

Top-loading NES and front-loading, plus what looks to be the original sega as well.... this man stole my childhood toys!!!

[–]ImMrNiceGuy 3 points4 points ago

The OCD in me is screaming to chronologically order these in their release date.

[–]norwegian_radiowave 233 points234 points ago

The virginity is strong with this one.

[–]IsThisAmerica 328 points329 points ago

What? a guy can't have more than 20 gaming consoles without someone freaking out? Is this America? I'm sorry, i thought this was America!

[–]verekh 40 points41 points ago

Upvote for Randy Marsh.

Not really, the owner of all these consoles is a youtuber named 16bitghost. He's a console collector and a father. Also, hello fellow Norwegian redditor.

[–]TheUKLibertarian 10 points11 points ago

I disagree. From OP picture he has a keen sense of design but more importantly, work ethic. Two things girls find extremely attractive.

[–]epicshizniz 61 points62 points ago

Well that was fucking original.

[–]Benjips 55 points56 points ago

Well that was fucking original.

For a second I thought I'd just read the same post twice

[–]n8theegr8 6 points7 points ago

HOLY CRAP! ..but where is the 360?

[–]RyanSandwich 2 points3 points ago

He has two NESes in there. I get that one is the newer one, but still.

[–]JokermanUno 2 points3 points ago

He has SMW already in the SNES. He's a good man.

[–]zerg886 2 points3 points ago

And then, he takes up parasailing, and all of that effort is wasted.

[–]myreddituser 2 points3 points ago

That nice cabinet and he doesnt take the time to hide the tv cables ?

[–]pinkfloyddwc 2 points3 points ago

Looks really fun. Only issue is the tv is too high for comfortable play.

[–]nuclearamen 2 points3 points ago

That guy who owns the setup has been on youtube for a while.

[–]MyUsernameIs20Digits 3 points4 points ago

You should go outside and enjoy life. Unless you live in Nebraska that is, in which case nevermind there's nothing out there.

[–]failingparapet 2 points3 points ago

Hey now. Let's not single out Nebraska. Indiana is a shithole too.

[–]AMISHassassin 9 points10 points ago

I wanna know what this guy’s masturbation station looks like.

[–]Schwinehund 52 points53 points ago

It's a shoebox.

[–]oldmanwithahatchet 24 points25 points ago

And it's burnt.

[–]unclesam65 17 points18 points ago

You spelled cumbox wrong

[–]Vranak 2 points3 points ago

you sure about that?

[–]StevieVonDoom 3 points4 points ago

guys! someone needs to create an app for steam that works like pandora. you can narrow it down by genre and skip twice but after that, steam locks up and wont let you play another game till you put an hour in.

Imagine all the wires..

[–]dr_mike_rithjin 1 point2 points ago

This is a man cave like no other. I am envious.

[–]jasonpatudy 1 point2 points ago

Are those individual lights for each one? Do they run by batteries? I'm trying to light up a cubbie I have, and I can't find a way to affordability light up each box.

[–]MeeKs19 2 points3 points ago

White Christmas lights.

[–]daltyy 1 point2 points ago

All you need now is one controller to rule them all.

[–]IIIIIbarcodeIIIII 1 point2 points ago

So, so, so fresh and so clean.

[–]PrimeIntellect 1 point2 points ago

Something tells me this person probably rarely if ever plays those games

[–]jerschneid 1 point2 points ago

Ugh... I was totally in the mood for some Atari.

[–]ChadHundley 1 point2 points ago

That is a thing of beauty.

[–]bjan09 1 point2 points ago

All that and only a 50 inch TV?

[–]ni79 1 point2 points ago

No magnavox odyssey2?

[–]ExtraAnchovies 1 point2 points ago

Ok, who's gonna name them?

[–]Steely_Glint 1 point2 points ago

He will be bored if his TV breaks ...

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points ago

this is the worship altar of console gaming.

[–]treefox 1 point2 points ago

My first thought: What happens when a new gaming console comes out?

Though I guess then he could just circumvent the problem by moving one console into storage.

[–]SHIT_IN_HER_CUNT 1 point2 points ago

I would cum buckets if I saw the cable management behind that thing. I make cable management look bad. Very very bad. Blind man in a china shop with earplugs bad.

[–]stapviggo 1 point2 points ago

As someone who is construction of a 12 console gaming station with plans to get more when it is done, this is inspiration.

[–]maz-o 1 point2 points ago

But he WILL break his neck with the TV up that high.

[–]MrPolymath 1 point2 points ago

Wow...I wonder if he knows his setup is on here?

And to answer everyone's question - he's married, and in fact his wife has added to his collection.

[–]aubz2415 1 point2 points ago

Welp....Party at your house

[–]cc4629 1 point2 points ago

He may never be bored, but I doubt he'll ever be satisfied with it either. Really, who could enjoy all of that equipment? It looks to me like he just enjoys owning the 'newest' gadget on the market. Does he ever play any of them or does he spend all his time shopping for the next item that becomes available?

[–]MrPolymath 1 point2 points ago

[–]dbwoi 1 point2 points ago

No N64DD? Psh...

[–]DarlingNicki 1 point2 points ago

That right there is... pretty damn amazing.
