eh, i could never convert. i haven't always been a PC user, though. i've used both for many years.

but i have a lot of PC software (read: games), and i'm familiar enough with how they work that i can build and fix them. i've broken macs, and they stayed broke.

How I remember these days... Such simpler times. We had to steal porno mags from parents and neighbors, where we'd stash them in forts we'd build in the woods.

Later, when watching tv, we'd alternate channels between Fresh Prince and MTV, because both were the real deal. Then late at night, it was to the upper channels to watch fuzzy porn, in the hope of seeing nipple clearly, if only just for a second. ...Sigh, yes, such simpler times.

My generation doesn't fully comprehend the absolutely profound significance of the internet.

It wasn't not too long ago that most people didn't even know how to read, books were limited, knowledge was scarce and only very few hands actually possessed it (mostly immoral "authorities" and "rulers" of the world).

Now, all information is available to man. Good information, bad information and outright lies - but, nonetheless, it is information for man to make use of how he wishes.

This is the first time in all the universe the human psyche has ever experienced such a thing. But, instead of drowning one's mind in reality and wonders of nature and himself, he seeks meaningless stimuli (cats, facebook and porn). I fucking hate my generation.

Our ancestors of ancient past in times of incredible oppression around the whole world could only HOPE for such a thing to exist - how badly they wanted to be educated in order to make real difference in the world. To dethrone diseased creatures who have claimed by possession of this knowledge that only they were fit to rule the lives of others. To make information of all qualities available to man so he may be the ruler of his life. They're rolling in their fucking graves.
