By Kate Beaton. Her comics are fantastic. Check them out here: http://harkavagrant.com/index.php

And yea, it's a total ripoff of her comic, which she did in 2010.

[–]aryst0krat 1 point2 points ago

I... linked directly to her site. I don't understand all of this redundant information you're giving. O_o

[–]ImposterProfessorOak 1 point2 points ago

are you sure you don't need this link? http://harkavagrant.com/index.php

its there in case you need it. if you didn't, sorry.

[–]aryst0krat 1 point2 points ago

Upon giving it further consideration, I have never needed anything as much as I need that link. It is mine now, and you can't have it back.

[–]ImposterProfessorOak 0 points1 point ago

oh..

[–]Drfuzzykins 0 points1 point ago

What's interesting is that the creator of OP's comic is so unfunny that, even when copying an idea from a funny person like Kate Beaton, the resulting comic isn't funny.

[–]Toasterattack 39 points40 points ago

I upvoted you...I'm sorry

[–]RealDollNipSlip 2 points3 points ago

I'm sorey.

[–]Ajide 7 points8 points ago

I'm sorry, that you're sorry.

[–]Windows_98 6 points7 points ago

I'm sad that I'm flying...

[–]stoogiebuncho 4 points5 points ago

You were probably actually using Windows 98 when you heard that phrase for the first time.

[–]Windows_98 5 points6 points ago

Nah, I was running a Compy 386.

[–]Ajide 1 point2 points ago

Tooooons.

[–]ndrwkm 1 point2 points ago

I'm sorry that you're sorry about the fact that the other guy's sorry.

[–]Burlapin 30 points31 points ago

Everything is spot on until he says he's had like 16 beers and the other guy doesn't beat the shit out of him. You drink and drive here, you're going to have a bad time. We don't say sorry to shit like that. /Vancouverite.
PS sorry for the swearing. I just feel very strongly about this and want everyone to know that we don't take kindly to drinking and driving here.

[–]superbadninja 23 points24 points ago

The fact that your "PS" starts with "sorry" is the icing on the cake here

[–]Mcflexington 2 points3 points ago

If I made a list of jokes, that would be on it.

[–]theevilpower 5 points6 points ago

I have known way to many people who have been killed or have killed themselves with drunk driving.

I find this stereotype the most offensive of all Canadian stereotypes.

Yeah I say "eh" a lot, as in "have a good one eh", but in no way do u let myself or anyone I know drink and drive.

[–]Cat_Diesel_Power 0 points1 point ago

Don't hate me, but I think that's just Vancouver. Most bars I've been to (way outside Vancouver) people drive shittered, even when the bar has a free shuttle. On the other hand, there's a lot less people and traffic out here. Regardless, it's not right, but it's not frowned upon as much as in Vancouver. What do you think?

[–]Burlapin 0 points1 point ago

That's horrendous. I don't care where you are; you drink and drive, you're not only stupid for endangering your own life, but you're recklessly and wantonly endangering other people's lives too. There's no reason that this should ever happen, anywhere.
Edit Not you, OP, just... trying to say that it doesn't matter where people are. I'm deeply angered that it goes on at all, let alone more in rural areas.

[–]Cat_Diesel_Power 0 points1 point ago

I completely agree.

[–]rpglover64 2 points3 points ago

[–]lolrsk8s 2 points3 points ago

[–]Die-Nacht 0 points1 point ago

Afterwards, the protesters and the police got together for a group hug and a sorry session.

[–]bvanrassel 0 points1 point ago

Take off you hoser, hockey is way to serious of an issue eh!

[–]MutantstyleZ 6 points7 points ago

LOL CANADIANS ARE ALWAYS SORRY HAHAHA

[–]jimmytheone45 0 points1 point ago

MEMES! HILARIOUS MEMES! HILARIOUS REPETITIVE MEMES! MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEMES!

[–]domasin -1 points0 points ago

But... it's true. :/

[–]kodster8912 6 points7 points ago

typical American humor.......... that is not how we say sorry in Canada.

[–]deathlordoo 3 points4 points ago

I know right. We pronounce it sorry, not sorry.

[–]wrongagaindumbass 5 points6 points ago

sore-y

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points ago

I'm sorreh

[–]anonymousHacker 1 point2 points ago

Sorry, Anyone know where I can find a Timmy Ho's?

[–]The_Rude_Canadian 1 point2 points ago

Serves them right.

[–]Sewerduck 1 point2 points ago

Bad Canadian day today driving my polar bear to work today and all of a sudden he breaks down in the middle of the snow path. My Large bearded boss said and I quite "I am a little upset you arrive at work 4 hours late " an on top I it all my son was arrested for possession of snow balls in school and now he can't play in his curling game this saturday Canadians will feel me eh.

[–]ConqueringCanada 1 point2 points ago

This is one of the dumbest things I've ever seen... wheels with lug nuts that spaced out? Not real, not real at all.

And sorry for calling it dumb.

[–]Get_off_the_stage 1 point2 points ago

American version: the neighbors got a gun

[–]SHIT_IN_HER_CUNT 1 point2 points ago

The comic almost nailed it - really hardcore Canadians like here in N.S. say "beer" no matter how large a quantity they come in. "I drank 15 beer today eh"

[–]Anticitizen-Zero 0 points1 point ago

Halifax?

[–]SHIT_IN_HER_CUNT 0 points1 point ago

Near halifax actually haha, won't say where though, can't have everyone getting in on my shit parties

[–]frickindeal 0 points1 point ago

It comes from the plural of "deer".
Nova Scotians say "beer" because "deer" is also the plural of "deer".

[–]GrayfoxFJ 0 points1 point ago

This is so true its almost not funny. Im sorry.

NS here.

[–]Blanketzc 0 points1 point ago

I would be the worst Canadian ever....

edit: remembered Pol Pot and Hitler... so 3rd...

[–]LegendofSmellda 0 points1 point ago

Today a guy screamed at me for honking at him when he cut me off. Ya Canadians are so polite.

[–]Choo27 0 points1 point ago

I'm also Canadian and it's really funny being asked if you ride polar bears and live in igloos...I always say yes...

[–]AlwaysGettingHopOns 0 points1 point ago

When I was 24, I went inline skating (hey, it's fun) in Quebec (I'm from Orlando, FL) and fell over something... next thing I know, i'm hurtling into some guys nice, new car with all my weight following along. After impact, I get up to see a massive dent across the hood

Now, my poor, 24-year-old self freaked out a little... But what do ya know? The guy comes running out of a coffee shop yelling "Sir, Sir! Are you okay? I just saw you take a spill.... i'm so sorry!" Him? Sorry? What is this?

Dude told me not to worry about it, and its just a dent in the hood. Damn Canada....

[–]elguercoterco 0 points1 point ago

...a bitch ain't definitely one.

[–]grabondall 0 points1 point ago

I'm sorry but those jokes are getting overused and lame now...

[–]Populoner 0 points1 point ago

Is being Canadian transferable? My ex-girlfriend was Canadian but it seemed like I was always the one who had to apologize...

[–]intimatestranger 0 points1 point ago

Where are all these polite Canadians? Whenever I visit Vancouver or Toronto, all I meet are cunty road-ragey assholes! Stereotypes were shared. I was disappointed.

[–]NinjaPro5 0 points1 point ago

I know most Canadians are polite but I've met some serious assholes. Like my dad says, there's one born every minute.

[–]NigeriaJones 0 points1 point ago

I get it! It's the Canadian stereotype. That joke never gets old.

[–]WazzuMadBro 0 points1 point ago

This comic sucked and i demand an apology from a Canadian for wasting my precious American time. I could have been doing American things like BBQ'ing or masturbating instead of reading this crap.

NOW APOLOGIZE

[–]bob-the-dragon 0 points1 point ago

Seems more like a Japanese problem but without any bowing

[–]Duesx187 0 points1 point ago

I noticed this trend in my home town of Toronto well before it was a mainstream joke. Like giggling to myself confused at shopping malls how people would say sorry for the most contrived and subtle reasons.

[–]jakeyjake247 0 points1 point ago

More like 21st century problems, i cant have decent conversation with a girl without them apologizing for everything.

[–]ctothemack 0 points1 point ago

the comic, and most of the comments just aren't funny.. sorry

[–]ZombieCancer1996 0 points1 point ago

Oh no, people are stereotyping Canadians. Wait a minute. Who gives a shit?

[–]DupaZupa 0 points1 point ago

Thanks for that comic! Sorry if my comment was too long.

[–]sweetsweetcoffee 0 points1 point ago

I feel terrible that we are well mannered people, sorry.

[–]MarkCE 0 points1 point ago

Us Canadians need to stand up for ourselves and let the world know we can be assholes too. Fuck these comics. Annoying as balls.

[–]prunk 5 points6 points ago

Oh geez. Sorry for offending you guy.

[–]MarkCE -1 points0 points ago

S'all good, tiger.

[–]Die-Nacht 7 points8 points ago

Us Canadians need to stand up for ourselves and let the world know we can be assholes too. Fuck these comics. Annoying as balls. Sorry

FTFY

[–]NeoTranshuman 0 points1 point ago

Yes, we saw the riot after the hockey game.

[–]zeromadcowz -1 points0 points ago

We got all fucked up on hockey, sorry.

[–]Ssylar -2 points-1 points ago

As a person who lives in Canada, this is a common problem. I'm sorry :(

[–]dragonite77 -2 points-1 points ago

i'm of canadian descent, and although i was raised in america all my life and my mother (the canadian in my family) doesn't have the canadian accent at all, i still read sorry in a canadian accent and say it a decent amount. i don't know why, but i like it.... i'm sorry

[–]Kessbot 4 points5 points ago

... We have accents?

[–]allycakes 0 points1 point ago

I mean some places in Canada have accents, like Cape Breton and Newfoundland, but I don't think there's a Canadian accent per se. That'd be like saying that they read the comic in an American accent.

[–]Jipalio 0 points1 point ago

I remember reading some journal of a fancy linguist and they have determined that Canadians do not speak with an accent, but Americans do hear them as if they have one. It's weird lmao.

[–]Hadez -3 points-2 points ago

oh god that is kinda true

[–]ErrorCmdr -1 points0 points ago

how did batman steal marvels Ironman tech?
