gifs are funny things. you instantly relate the title to the gif, but every loop gets a stronger connection until its funny. there comes a sudden jolt though when you have seen it loop enough and have to close it as soon as possible because the funniness wore off into annoyance.

What are you talking about? This gif has nothing to do with "serious GGG stuff", and actually has everything to do with subtly saying "yes" with the tacit implication that what you're saying "yes" to is slightly deviant (but not overly so) in nature. I agree it's overused but it's honestly probably the single most relevant gif for OP's situation.
