I always enjoyed this image/caption, but goddamn the context it's taken from (1917 apparently) really puts a damper on things.

Probably some sort of disability center for kids I'm the early 1900s. They most likely kept the kids there because at that time people didn't know how to handle physical/mental issues very well. Captions are made up by someone on the internet of course, over the course of countless reposts the words could have changed some. The end.
