"He comes in here every day, stares at the menu board for 22 minutes (we've been timing him, yeah), then orders a number 4. He sets his cash on the counter and walks out of the restaurant. Doesn't ask for change. Doesn't pick up his food. Been doing this for 6 months now."

"Have you asked him why?"

"No we haven't asked him why. We ask if he's ready to order, or we did at first anyways. At first nobody wanted to disturb him by asking why, now nobody asks out of respect. He's a man with purpose, who are we to question it?"

"I think I see what you mean. Gives me the willies though."
