Rules

  1. No screenshots, or pictures with added or superimposed text. This includes image macros, comics, info-graphics and most diagrams. Text (e.g. a URL) serving to credit the original author is exempt.

  2. No gore or porn. NSFW content must be tagged.

  3. No personal information. This includes anything hosted on Facebook's servers, as they can be traced to the original account holder. Stalking & harassment will not be tolerated.

  4. No solicitation of votes (including "cake day" posts), posts with their sole purpose being to communicate with another redditor, or [FIXED] posts. DAE posts go in /r/DoesAnybodyElse. "Fixed" posts should be added as a comment to the original image.

  5. Submissions must link directly to a specific image file or to an image hosting website with minimal ads. We do not allow blog hosting of images ("blogspam"), but links to albums on image hosting websites are okay. URL shorteners are prohibited.

  6. No animated images. Please submit them to /r/gif, /r/gifs, or /r/reactiongifs instead.

  • If your submission appears to be filtered but definitely meets the above rules, please send us a message with a link to the comments section of your post (not a direct link to the image). Don't delete it as that just makes the filter hate you!

  • If you come across any rule violations, please report the submission or message the mods and one of us will remove it!

Please also try to come up with original post titles. Submissions that use certain clichés/memes will be automatically tagged with a warning.

The best knife Ive ever used for manufacturing onions is a super cheap, super flexible, super thin, mini cleaver that I bought in Chinatown for 6 bucks. I use my chef's knife for 95% of the work I do, but that little goofy blade is brilliant for that one job.

Best part is when it dulls out I throw it away instead of paying to have it resharpened. My Shun chef's knife I dont have the luxury with - heh.

I do. I also have a professional knife I use in a michelin rated kitchen, so I pay to have it professionally sharpened and honed.

I think the reaction is not based on what she's actually doing. It's more the fact that she has a fucking knife out on an NYC Subway. We all know what happens when we see that.

This is true , I'm a New yorker myself. Granted i'm not in NYC as much as i used to be; just walking around down there you realize how desensitized NY'er's have become to certain things. For instance the gentleman i saw last time i was there wearing an upside down purple and black umbrella as a belt. No one looked twice.

Yeah last time I was on the N train the other day a homeless dude had set up basically a fort for himself that took up 1/5th of the car and we were all like "well... guess that's there now whatever." Im still curious though as to how he got ALL that stuff on the train with him. It's not like he made multiple trips and Im sure no one helped him drag his stuff on there.

If you don't like the F train, it's because you live in South Brooklyn. I agree about the others though. You don't know how many times I was late for middle/high school because a goddamn G train rolled into my station first.

I do live in south brooklyn but I thankfully live off of the D and N (both express) trains and avoid taking the R train unless its after 1 or 2am. I just hate the F train. And I feel your pain about the G(host) train, shit is weak.

I guess I'm of the opposite opinion. I'll take a less crowded F that doesn't have to wait for a local train when it calls itself an express, and doesn't have hoards of inconsiderate people yelling at eachother across the car. And it runs pretty much on time, no worse than other trains.
