If anyone is using Photoshop, I much prefer the "stroke" effect on text, it's what a lot of the memes use.

Double click the layer, activate the last effect called "Stroke", change the awful red default color to black, and adjust the size in pixels as needed.

I just wish that i could see more original content on a website which has the primary function of linking to other websites to show everyone.

I also hate it when everyone hasn't seen what I have seen. It's almost as if there should be some rule in some kind of reddit etiquette guide that says not to complain about reposts. It should talk about how upvotes determine how popular something is, and just because some people have seen something that not everyone has.

May as well call it google, because a vast majority of things here aren't "original" per say, but just links to other destinations; where someone else either produced or copied it themselves.

Although I do agree, when you frequent reddit at least a few days a week, you tend to see the same shit, and no matter how illogical it is, we still get annoyed.

What I disagree with is when people are cunts about it, and it isnt even entertaining. Either have the imagination and balls to be funny/creative with it, or simply shut the fuck up. Typing "repost" contributes the valued equivalent of my ass.

Adam Carolla has a great story about doing this exact thing...there was a pie eating contest at his school and being a pie lover and connoisseur, he refused to eat his pie quickly. A teacher tried to tell him that he couldn't keep the pie, so he ran home with it and ate it with a big jug of milk.

I did that once at a contest. It was to see what group could eat a large pizza, breadsticks and two drinks the fastest. I am not even sure there was a prize for winning except winning. I went up and casually ate 2 slices of pizza, had a coke, and a couple breadsticks and don't even think my team finished the pizza but mmmm my free dinner was yummy.

If you want to use black text, that's okay.. but when you do your captions, even if you don't have anything fancy like photoshop, there is a FREE program called Paint.net that will allow you to put a white glow on your text to make it pop out of the background. Just a suggestion.
