For those unaware, this is a Minecraft reference. The game generates landscapes in 16x16 "chunks" and when errors occur, there is a sharp dropoff, such as this screenshot from the alpha version with multiple errors in a row.

That's not a chunk error in the screenshot, that's where someone loaded a world that was started with the old world generator after it had been updated to the new one. Chunk errors result in holes that lead all the way down to bedrock.

so, if i tried to jump off of that, i am fairly certain i would survive. normally, death is caused by impact with the water, which, at that distance, will be forceful enough to cause your body to turn to mush. i, however, would probably be shitting my pants so badly that I could form a cushioning sphere of shit around me to act as a buffer against the impact, reducing the danger to, possibly, broken legs. assuming shit has half the density of water (since it, y'know, floats), i would require about 20 kgs of shit to create a cushion 10 cm thick around me. this is perfectly achievable since i know that i am 70% water and, consequently, must be at most 30% of my weight full of shit about this story.
