    Thats because he gets downvoted to hell when he posts to r/pics. Then he freaks out and deletes the submission altogether, because too many downvotes actually reduce his overall Karma.

    Check his submissions, he posts almost exclusively to subreddits that won't make it to the homepage (fireporn, waterporn, earthporn) because he can call his reposts "crossposting" without being assraped by the usual downvotes.

    What's worse is that he says Reddit should be paying him for the service that he provides. Apparently he's going to sell his account for cash to someone once he hits a million karma.

      I can't even see why that WOULD be a problem, to be honest. I mean, people are weirded out by odd things, so I accept it - but I can't understand it. The only way the roots would bother me is that I like sense and order. That's not the way tree roots are supposed to look, so maybe it could bug me - except I find the intersection between nature and man-made objects quite fascinating.

      It's not holes. It's stuff lurking in the darkness of the holes. Lots and lots of dangerous, spooky, disgusting stuff.

      I do not have a problem looking at many holes of the sieve or colander. The most famous example of that phobia is lotus flowers or fruits. It's holes alright, but also the stuff in holes.

        OH my gosh! I had never heard of this before, but I have this problem! I never forgot, years ago I was on a car ride, and they had repaired the road I was on with a pattern much like those tree roots. It lasted for miles, and I got to where I couldn't even look at it. I had to lay down because the rounded, network-like pattern in the road made me feel physically ill. Now I have an explanation! I thought I was nuts.

        And fuck lotus flowers.

            It was a reference to the film Iron Man 2- in the movie, Tony Stark uses a Palladium core inside his mini arc reactor in his chest, but this poisons him and creates a similar pattern as these roots on his chest and neck with his veins.

            Yep, this kicks off my trypophobia.
