Makes me think of Timon from Lion King. I tried finding an image but could not. He strikes me as the type that is always arm around your neck like he's showing you the in's and out's of life while he motions with his free hand at all the opportunities before you.

It looked like to me they are fighting. Look at the left ones arm position. It's almost like a come at me bro stance, while in the second frame, the right one is clearly swinging.

I cannot explain why it's like that or what it's suppose to be.

Mindblowing idea: they are gay and it's perfectly okay if they embrace.

We're not used to seeing two (mildly gendered but still probably) male characters in intimate physical contact with one another.

Then again, this is a dinky little three-panel comic with very simple art, so perhaps I am just blowing this out of proportion.

"Piece of cake" is an idiom in English which means easy. Generally if you say "that exam was a piece of cake" you mean "that exam was easy".

However, in this case there is a subversion of expectations (a staple in humour) and the exam is literally a piece of cake.

If I were a teacher, and I said there would be a final worth, say, 20-30% of your final grade. And say the final is at 8AM, 10AM at the earliest. Instead of having a final, I surprised the class with cake, saying "Now this final...is a PIECE OF CAKE!!!!" and give cake to everyone and say there is no final.

Would the students be happy or pissed?
