True story. When I was about 15, my family went to a wax museum in NYC. In one area of the museum there was a hallway that you had to go through to reach the next section of the museum but there were no wax figures in it. At the end of the hallway there was a section that was lifted up (probably to hold a wax figure). This gave me an idea so I told my parents to wait for me in the next room. I stood on the lifted section at the end of the hallway and stood completely still in a friendly pose. An young asian couple (probably around late 20s) walked into the hallway. They didn't speak english so I did not know what they were saying when they saw me, but the woman came up to me and posed with me while the man took our picture. Right after the picture was taken I turned to her and said, "You forgot to say cheese". I swear she jumped several feet in the air and screamed, but they both had a good laugh immediately after. The man shook my hand (asian death-grip style) and I went to go find my parents.

I would have fleshed the story out more but I have to go to my last day of classes ever...

I was at Kennedy Space Center in Florida when I was a kid, and on the tour there was a spot where you could sit in a replica of a lunar rover next to a guy in a space suit.

The suit isn't moving at all, so I assume it was just a mannequin. Then the guy inside the suit turns and looks right at me and I freak the fuck out and was half way across the room in about .2 seconds.

There is a temple in Thailand with a giant hall of wax figures - famous monks from the temple that have passed. For some reason, monks at the temple also meditate in there. They love scaring tourists just like OP gif.
