If you try to run over a cop, you're gonna have a bad time

This is one of those unwritten rules. Resisting during the arrest is par for the course, but trying to kill a cop means you fall down some stairs in a one-floor precinct. The fact that the idiots couldn't wait until they 1. got him to jail and 2. made sure he's conscious for the beating means they deserved to get fired.

Oh I remember this one. When it happened it was posted elsewhere on Reddit shortly after I joined and I had a massive argument over the behaviour of the police with some other redditors. I think I made my point in the end but my karma was negative for a bit afterwards.
