Because freight elevators is expensive.

This makes me want to see how many forklifts you could stack up in this fashion before they toppled over. I think you'd need to make a spiral tower, but even then I'm not sure how long before one of the lifts gives out.

I drove one before. The thing is, all the weight is on the back of the forklift, thus if you were lifting an identical forklift you'd have equal weight on the forks which MIGHT work for a few feet but then you'd probably topple over since the weight is identical and moving up would have to shift your weight forward.

Additionally, you couldn't be lifting anything with the forklift being lifted since that would be more weight than in the rear. In this case, they've got a bigger forklift, lifting a smaller one which I guess is why they aren't dead.

Either way this is definitely stupid.
