Also Roosevelt is much sharper than the blurry rest of the photo, his hand positioning doesn't make any sense, and the ripples where his legs meet the water looks very awkward.

Not to be Sir Buzzkillington and maybe I'm wrong...but this photo looks doctored. The way his leg enters the water is just weird and he is a lot lighter than the moose. He also has his hands holding onto what would be the reins of a horse saddle even though the moose has no reins on it.

Because we choose to elect whatever president we think is most handsome, or that we'd like to have a beer with, or whoever has the best slogan.

Because by and large, most of the men and women in this country have it pretty fucking good compared to our grandfathers, and have never known hunger, hard work, suffering or what it means to earn something, anywhere near what people like Teddy Roosevelt, or any of the other presidents that we cream our jeans over knew.

looking at the shadows on his jacket vs. the shadow of the moose's ear... doesn't like look like a photoshop job... from 1925?? I mean, my grampa was a photographer, they altered photograps for asthetics, as well as comedy! Also, the line of his knees at the water looks suspisicously like a fudge job with a pencil (that's how they did it, pencils...)
