Everyone calm down.. these are not my dogs. This is a picture from my Facebook this morning. It was cute, made me go 'awww' thought I would share it with r/aww. Yes dogs and cats should be spayed and neutered. I have one cat I adopted and he is neutered.

At the beginning of the movie Babe there's a scene where a bunch of piglets are suckling from their mother's teats all at once. Being very young when the film came out, I asked my dad what was going on. He told me the piglets were chewing off the top layer of belly meat, and this wasn't weird since humans eat bacon too. I believed that for years.

I imagine dog meat isn't as tasty as bacon.

Male dogs do not understand they are the father, they have no parental attachments to the pup, it's just another dog to it.

Can male dogs not ever have a motherly instinct? Maybe that's what we're seeing? I'm genuinely curious, I've never had a male dog, but my neutered male cat allowed two young kittens I was fostering suckle him. He was very motherly toward them while my spayed female wanted nothing to do with them.

That is cute, but I am convinced that people drag their dogs into some of these poses, such as when they seem to have their arms wrapped around each other. I am convinced of this because I know that my sister is one of those people, and I'm not even sure that my dogs have the capability to place themselves in a position like that.

i got my puppy from a lady who lived on a farm (actual farm, not puppy farm)....and her mom had 16...16. puppies.

that yellow lab carried and pushed out...16...puppies.

/edit now that i think about it it might have been 14...one of those two...even so...14, and/or 16..puppies.
