I was talking to my Christian friend once and started explaining something I had read about hiccups and human evolution, and she replied simply, "that is the stupidest thing I have ever heard." This was pretty much my reaction.

I live in tulsa oklahoma. I know only one other person who accepts the facts. One time whole trying to explain evolution I brought up adapation and they agreed. I then explained that is how evolution works except over millions of years and looked at me like a complete idiot and said the earth is only 6000 years old. My father wont accept any evidence for evolutoin I bring up because he needs proof that humans are directly evolved from moneys. It is madding living here.

I actually overheard a fellow student denouncing evolution. I was shocked as it was the first time I heard anyone denounce evolution. But hey Sweden is a bunch of godless heathens anyway.
