I never said not to insult me, insult you all you want, but don't imply that these are the things I believe because I hate men. On the contrary, I believe these things because I think MRAs are right about some stuff, men should have more responsibility for childcare outside of footing the bill. I say these things because I love men just like I love all people and believe they should be treated fairly. I wasn't asking not to be insulted, I was asking that people not automatically assume my belief system based off of my gender.

And man, I'm sorry but your response really disappointed me. I know people always say don't feed the trolls but it's frustrating because so many of the base issues MRAs talk about are actually really important, but they get ignored because of the way you guys present them. It's legitimate issues wrapped in ignorance, flaming rhetoric, and hate! I engage with MRAs in comments not because I want to come in an correct you, but because I just want to cut through the bullshit and maybe have an honest discussion about how the systems that treat us differently based on gender came to be, why they continue, and what we can do to change them. I was raised in a household with a male stay-at-home parent and I really care about these things, I should be your guy's best ally, but instead it's the same old shit. I mean, honestly, I write comments like above because I think sometimes maybe if I am equally as gruff you'd be more likely to listen? IDK, trying to maintain the level of discourse, like staying with the speed of traffic on the highway. But at the end of the day I have boobs and a vagina and I don't agree on you shitting on women, so I don't even get to be a part of the conversation that matters to me. Belive me, I love my dad, and I would do anything to change the system that takes children away from their fathers (and if you look at it conversely, puts the burden of childcare on women, which isnt' fair for either party!) but instead I get "women are dumb money grubbing whores." So, yeah, another disappointment from an MRA, I don't know why I continue to be so fucking surprised.
