A.) Gifound.com is much easier and faster to use for simple gif+youtube mashups. No account required. No login. Just enter two links and done.
B.) Gifsound was made by a Redditor for Reddit when inspired by Reddit (see links at footer). Notice that just about the only thing on the site beside the mashup are link widgets from Reddit.
C.) By all means, when Gifsound just won't do, use YTMND. Each site has its pros and cons. Choose the right tool for the task.
