Check Karma Decay before you post a pic that you found online. Somebody else might have posted the same image/vid recently.

Wait a minute. The majority of posts on here are reposts with "any love for" and "does reddit approve of" in the title, if these are against the rules then why are there so many of them that make it to the front page and stay there?

I hope I'm right in thinking those are Chinchillas? If so what is it like owning them? I hear they're awfully mean. But they're so soft and fluffy!!

I have three, and each has a different personality.

Gizmo was a rescue, and he's still mostly skittish, even after a few years of living with us. He doesn't mind being held, but he runs when you open the door to his cage. You've gotta snag him, and then he's cool. We believe he may have come from an abusive person, or a small child, previously, so he's very paranoid.

We adopted a pair from a family member, who named them Led and Zeppelin. Led is a lazy fatass who doesn't give a fuck what you do. He's very relaxed, will let you pet him or pick him up and hold him. Zeppelin, on the other hand, is a judgmental prick who will piss at you if you try to handle him. If you do pick him up, he will squirm unless you hold him firmly.

I should clarify that we are very gentle with all three, they are well-fed and well-cleaned. They're just very different animals.

They sound like fun. I've always enjoyed petting them when i go to pet stores and have to convince myself not to buy one just because of how damn soft and cute they are.
