My Religious Studies teacher (UK) answers to this that a being so powerful that it can bring it's self into existence must be God. It makes no sense but it helps these theists sleep at night.

I have used this in every single argument I have with christians. always say its impossible for this world to just be here. well whats more incredible a universe OR a being with the power to CREATE a universe.
