RULES: as of May 20, 2012
1st RULE: You do not talk about /r/howtonotgiveafuck. Running around telling everyone you don't give a fuck makes you an asshole, just be awesome and keep your lack of fucks to yourself. If you need to tell people you don't give a fuck you are trying too hard and are part of the problem. The exception is if you have a good example or a story of not giving a fuck that can inspire another honey badger.
2nd RULE: You DO NOT talk about /r/howtonotgiveafuck. This place only works if we maintain a high ratio of honey badgers to worthless fuckers. If we get too many worthless fuckers this place we will be overrun with mouth breathing assholes.
3rd RULE: If someone comes here for help or advice then make a serious effort to help them. This is HOW to not give a fuck, the point is to help people learn to give less fucks. This place is for sharing stories and advice in the hopes of making more honey badgers in the world. If you want to kick someone when they are down then fuck you. For the stupid that means no telling people how few fucks you give about their problems - if you don't give a fuck then move on.
4th RULE: If there is a violation or other stupid shit going on then report it to the mods. Don't feed the trolls. Users that make trouble or fuel the fire are part of the problem. Be the better honey badger.
5th RULE: WE PROMOTE DISCUSSION AND THOUGHT PROVOKING CONTENT. All images and/or links submitted must offer some value in the way of self-improvement. Generic images and videos of people not giving a fuck will be deleted, music videos will be deleted.
6th RULE: No novelty accounts, no karma whoring. We get it, you need attention - Fuck off! This is not the place to try and build your Reddit Karma. Up-votes will not fix your life. Reposts will be removed.
7th RULE: Trying to learn how to not give a fuck will go on as long as it has to. Learning to not give a fuck is a process. Change is hard. Don't give up on yourself and we will not give up on you.
8th RULE: If this is your first day at /r/howtonotgiveafuck you have to try a Project Mayhem task
ENFORCEMENT: The first line of defense is our community. The down-vote is a power every user has, if you see a post that is a SIGNIFICANT rules violation then down-vote. If something is getting out of control then use the report button. Mods may or may not give you a warning if you break the rules. Violations get you a 48 hour ban. Repeat violators will get a permanent ban.
