After 8 seasons of House I've learned... (i.imgur.com)

Sometimes you get lucky and are just the decoy sick person. Like the guy that starts coughing and you think he is going down when he recovers to find his friend having a seizure on the ground.
[–]Soul_Rage 141 points142 points143 points 3 months ago
Every damn time I watch those opening sequences I spend the time trying to guess who the sick guy is gonna be.
[–]Freesider 104 points105 points106 points 3 months ago
Sometimes I turn the TV on just seconds after the starting scene and I'm trying to guess "wtf is this...... (guy falls to the ground) Oh it's house!"
[–][deleted] 35 points36 points37 points 3 months ago
I realized that I've been watching too many downloaded episodes of TV shows when I read this comment and couldn't figure out how this was possible for far too long.
[–]Freesider 5 points6 points7 points 3 months ago
Me too but house is always on when I decide I need some background noise to do other stuff.

One of my friends tried to count episodes where someone didn't fall down. it was something like 4 at the time.
[–]Phunk131 39 points40 points41 points 3 months ago*
Usually you can tell because it's the actor you recognize from that one show.
[–]oddmanout 18 points19 points20 points 3 months ago
That's how I know who the killer is in Law and Order 5 minutes into the episode. They're not going to waste an awesome guest star like Robin Williams by not having him be the murderer.
I love cameos in movies, I hate them on Law and Order.
[–]Pxtl 3 points4 points5 points 3 months ago
Robin Williams' career is funny that way, isn't it?
Adorable children's hero / Murderous psychopath
[–]Clockian 1 point2 points3 points 3 months ago
To be fair, the Robin Williams one was pretty awesome.
[–]Soul_Rage 13 points14 points15 points 3 months ago
...normally the fact that I haven't seen the rest of the episode yet hinders this process.
[–]Phunk131 15 points16 points17 points 3 months ago
Sorry, I mean usually it's the actor you recognize from any show. If they're remotely recognizable, they're the victim.
[–]Soul_Rage 4 points5 points6 points 3 months ago
This is occasionally the case, yeah. Typically though, I'd still say I don't recognise them from anywhere else. I don't watch a tremendous amount of TV though.
[–]bdgdl08 1 point2 points3 points 3 months ago
Except for the episode with the Progressive girl... She was just healthy family.
[–]Fanboy1991 1 point2 points3 points 3 months ago
Two words. Bieber murder. I watched the shit out of him getting gunned down on CSI on YouTube. It made me happy, like the first time you beat Mortal Kombat on SNES.
[–]7a50n 1 point2 points3 points 3 months ago
Smart people knew.
[–]vheh 12 points13 points14 points 3 months ago
Exactly, I think they've overdone that though, because now as soon as someone seems to be sick in the opening I automatically think it's the other person thats gonna be really sick.
[–]Cozmo23 23 points24 points25 points 3 months ago
Very true. Soon they are going to have to really throw you in a loop. Person A starts coughing and you know its just a ploy. Person B starts spitting up blood and you think you have a winner when all of the sudden person C's eyes literally melt and run down his face.
[–]vheh 13 points14 points15 points 3 months ago
They should do that next episode, then there's only about 3 or 4 episodes left in the who;le show. SO they can keep adding a decoy every week so that in the finale they have like 7 sick people in the opening.
[–]Henipah 9 points10 points11 points 3 months ago
Remember they had an episode with a little girl who seems like the patient, eventually you realise she was the decoy and the coach collapses, then everyone gets sick because there's a meningitis epidemic and it turns out that the decoy was the main sick person all along..
[–]evolsoulx[S] 12 points13 points14 points 3 months ago
I love the decoy. It fakes left then BAM. What the fuck just happened.

They just throw Lumbar Punctures around 24/7. If in doubt, Lumbar.
[–]Henipah 20 points21 points22 points 3 months ago
This is House. If in doubt: TOTAL BODY IRRADIATION.
[–]bobandy47 16 points17 points18 points 3 months ago
Then put them on broad-spectrum antibiotics and steroids to treat.
[–]Rosie_Cotton_dancing 12 points13 points14 points 3 months ago
She's seizing! Everyone gather around the table while House berates the team for not being able to diagnose a unique medical situation only to come to the answer himself in passing via some phrase uttered by a co-worker.
Oh, and do an echo.
[–]sdkone 3 points4 points5 points 3 months ago
exactly, almost every single patient House had seen must be punctured on the spinal cord. well, except the clinic.
[–]the_sam_ryan 3 points4 points5 points 3 months ago
It is a lucky man to be the decoy sick guy.

[–]JoePurdy 61 points62 points63 points 3 months ago
I know the show is over dramatic and follows a pretty linear format... but I am going to miss it, I always found myself watching every episode. I think I just like the character of House... oh well.
[–]Komalt 6 points7 points8 points 3 months ago
The show is definitely much more interesting for its characters. I don't care so much about the patient side plots but just about the characters lives.
[–]JoePurdy 1 point2 points3 points 3 months ago
Agreed, for me it was a more serious Scrubs... another show I miss dearly.
[–]nmork 19 points20 points21 points 3 months ago
Same here. To be honest, I think they should have stopped a while ago...things got kinda ridiculous when House went to prison. Still, though, I keep watching and will definitely miss it when it's gone.
[–]KillJesusSmokeMeth 15 points16 points17 points 3 months ago
For me, the problem was Lisa Edelstein (Dr. Cuddy)'s contract expired after the 7th season and they couldn't renegotiate, so she left the show, which really screwed up an important component. I have a feeling her leaving is the only reason House went to prison--it was simply the ONLY way to spin her leaving.
The show can be pretty overdramatic, but I thought that whole thing was a bit more ludicrous than normal, but their only option, which is why they tried to hustle him out of there in just a few episodes--I don't think even they were happy about having to do it.
With that said, I agree it's time for the show to call it day even if Cuddy was still around. This season should definitely have been their last either way, though I do wish Cuddy's character would have been around to close it all off.
[–][deleted] 18 points19 points20 points 3 months ago
House driving a car into a House was not the only option. In fact, it was as close to jumping the shark that House could get without actually "jumping a shark". House had just started hitting the pills again. Cuddy had broken up with him. He had been behaving quite ridiculous. They could have easily had House overdose and end up in a coma. Then, at the start of the next season, have House wake up after months or even a year to find Cuddy gone out of guilt, Foreman in charge, and then started out with his rehab after waking up. The bonus is that it beautifully set up a season long storyline wherein House finally reforms and becomes a decent person.
So no, House driving a car into a House is not the only way they could have spun Cuddy leaving. But it was the stupidest, show destroying ways. Which is a shame. The new team is pretty damn interesting. It's just impossible to take House(the character) seriously after such an uncharacteristic action. Might as well have had Cuddy become a prostitute or Chase become a priest. It would have mad about as much sense.
[–]KillJesusSmokeMeth 2 points3 points4 points 3 months ago
Good point. I should have avoided an absolute like "only." It really was a "jumping the shark" moment and I agree it was show destroying in a way. As a long-time fan, it sucks to see it go out like this, though I'm still interested to see exactly how things turn out.
[–]Fenris_uy 1 point2 points3 points 3 months ago
I found funny how they said that the only reason house was in prison was because he didn't had a good lawyer. He drove a car into a fucking house in a jealousy rage. Almost drove over his closest friend and his ex.
[–]seeasea 1 point2 points3 points 3 months ago
The opening episode in prison (and in institution a while ago) were among the best episodes, IMO.
Though, I do think that they should have ended it, but now that it is this last season, it is way too fast and neat (in order to) end the show.
The Russian in love? Just like that? No conflict? no way!
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 3 months ago
The best episode was still the mental hospital double-episode. Wow. I was floored.
[–]puckhead 47 points48 points49 points 3 months ago
... and every patient that he treats might have sarcoidosis.
[–]ngregge 32 points33 points34 points 3 months ago
Of course they do. What did you think it would be? Lupus?
[–]7a50n 10 points11 points12 points 3 months ago
...and every black patient- Sickle Cell.
[–]AndrewTindall 9 points10 points11 points 3 months ago
and if it's not that, then it might be amyloidosis

Learned this from Law & Order. That, and if you ever go jogging in Central Park after sundown you will at least be stabbed multiple times.
[–]mynameisnotmatthew 5 points6 points7 points 3 months ago
Actually, raped and stabbed.
[–]munch_the_gunch 6 points7 points8 points 3 months ago

[–]Lampmonster1 2 points3 points4 points 3 months ago
And if you jog in the morning, you're gonna find bodies.
[–]skyblue90 19 points20 points21 points 3 months ago
I don't see the need to diagnose on House.
They basically just have four treatments and do them until one makes the patient survive.
It's either broadspectrum antibiotics, steroids, keelation or radiation.
[–]olivertrees 18 points19 points20 points 3 months ago
Or plasmapherisis.
[–]Entropius 6 points7 points8 points 3 months ago
keelation
chelation
[–]Sacrament_of_Swords 5 points6 points7 points 3 months ago
Don't forget Prednizone and Anti-retrovirals!
[–]spike312 1 point2 points3 points 3 months ago
There was that one episode with the homeless cannibal guy who was sick because he was eating normal food. And the vegetable guy in the wheelchair, he was cured with corticosteroids. And a bunch of patients are cured through a couple weeks of dialysis.
[–]Faemn 2 points3 points4 points 3 months ago
wasn't it prednizone?
[–]Jackle13 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Yes, but if you give steriods or radiation to a patient who needs antibiotics you will destroy their immune system and kill them! I'm not sure how true that is, but that's how it works on House. Foreman did that in season 3 and it destroyed his confidence and led to him quitting.
[–]Nacimota 1 point2 points3 points 3 months ago
I'm not sure how true that is, but that's how it works on House
I don't know enough about steroids but Total Body Irradiation is specifically used to destroy the immune system in a patient.
[–]damnitkage 56 points57 points58 points 3 months ago
Fucking lupus.
[–]kaellinn18 42 points43 points44 points 3 months ago
It's never lupus.
[–]quotejester 35 points36 points37 points 3 months ago
Well, once.
[–]KillJesusSmokeMeth 32 points33 points34 points 3 months ago
It was a glorious one time, too.
[–][deleted] 8 points9 points10 points 3 months ago
I thought it was a joke until the ep ended. I thought for sure they would collapse on the way out of the hospital and it would be something else.
[–]Jackle13 9 points10 points11 points 3 months ago
Yep, it was that magician that Kutner and Big Love went to see. I miss Kutner.
[–]SleeperHasAwoken 8 points9 points10 points 3 months ago
You know he had to be written out because he was going to work for the white house?
[–]quotejester 6 points7 points8 points 3 months ago
Yeah but he appeared in HIMYM so I guess the White House gig didn't work out.
[–]Tropic-Tsundere 6 points7 points8 points 3 months ago
He didn't have to be written out, they could have just made House flip out and fire him for no particular reason. They killed him out of spite.
[–]Jackle13 5 points6 points7 points 3 months ago
I don't think he was available for the episode when he committed suicide, they never show his body. They can't really have House fire somebody who can't actually appear on the show.
[–]Tropic-Tsundere 14 points15 points16 points 3 months ago
INTERIOR. Dr. House's office.
HOUSE: "Someone isn't here."
Foreman: "Kutner is late."
House: "Kutner is fired. Someone tell security. The rest of you...differential diagnosis."
LATER. INTERIOR. Dr. Cuddy's Office.
Cuddy: "You can't just fire someone with a phone call, you have to at least tell him face to face."
House: "I can. I have. I did. Speaking of things I did...." [Eyeing Cuddy's ass]
Cuddy: "Not funny. You need to deal with this."
And so on. House still has his vicodin hallucinations we don't have to deal with Kutner until the actor is available again.
I'm telling you...spite.
Kutner's suicide was planned several episodes in advance. Additionally, he appears in the finale for that season (as a hallucination). I find it very difficult to believe he wasn't available.
Side note: you actually do see his body in the scene, just not his face.
[–]Nacimota 2 points3 points4 points 3 months ago
They killed him out of spite.
I don't think there's much evidence to support that conclusion. It's far more likely that the writers were just trying to make a dramatic statement. Season 5 has a very depressing feel overall; three characters die between the end of season 4 and the start of season 6, House's relationship with Wilson (and other characters) is severely strained, Thirteen sinks into a self destructive spiral after confirming her Huntingtons, House goes "nuts", Cuddy has parenting issues, etc.
I think the writers lost their sense of humour by taking the show too seriously in season 5, but I think claiming they killed off Kutner for the sake of spite (against Kal Penn... ?) is just silly.
[–]Tropic-Tsundere 1 point2 points3 points 3 months ago
You're writing under a deadline for a popular television drama and one of your actors quits suddenly to go into politics. Even if it's an affable person, they still put you into a difficult position and basically skirted prior obligations.
I'm not pointing out some awful conspiracy to get even with Kal Penn, just suggesting that they probably wrote in suicide during moment of frustration due to what was going on around them. Killing a character like that seems like spite, and they had good reason to feel spiteful.
You're writing under a deadline for a popular television drama and one of your actors quits suddenly to go into politics.
As I said in response to another comment, Kutner's suicide was planned several episodes in advance and I believe he gave the producers plenty of notice (as he was probably required to do so under his contract, as well as just being a professional courtesy).
The producers of the show also bent over backwards to allow Olivia Wilde to work on her film career both during and between seasons (she was absent for about two thirds of season 7) before she quit House to work full-time in film. Is it possible spite was involved? I guess, but there's just no logical reason to jump to this specific conclusion, given the evidence. This was not a sudden decision the writers had to make. It looks sudden in the show because it is and that's the whole point; his suicide was sudden, unexpected, and just generally unfathomable (as it often is in real life).
"The suicide was essential to [the story]. The lack of reason behind it – the lack of answers — was what I responded to and is what I got excited about. House, the man of answers, doesn’t have an answer about this guy who he has worked with for two years... It makes him question the most important aspect of himself, which is the ability to find answers. It’s the one thing about himself that he feels good about." David Shore (creator, writer, producer)

[–]hardestprofession 8 points9 points10 points 3 months ago
It was always fun to try and pick out the method death during the opening scenes of Six Feet Under. Wasn't there a guy who got chopped up by a fan?
[–]Status-Duck 12 points13 points14 points 3 months ago
One guy fell into an industrial mixer and got mangled.

I think I'm going to start watching that again.. great show.
[–]Johrues 40 points41 points42 points 3 months ago
and that took you 8 seasons to realize?...
[–]crackbabydaddy 16 points17 points18 points 3 months ago
I realized in the second episode
[–]Scuttlebutt91 6 points7 points8 points 3 months ago
Same with being in the opening of CSI. Life sucks for bit characters.
[–]nodefect 8 points9 points10 points 3 months ago
Fringe, ditto.
[–]tallfrenchman 9 points10 points11 points 3 months ago
Well at least, in House, you get to be saved. In Fringe, you're pretty much fucked (and not in a good way).
[–]team_pizza 3 points4 points5 points 3 months ago
Supernatural, too. It's just a question of how covered in blood the room will get - somewhere between Jackson Pollock and that elevator scene from The Shining.
[–]amaefm 1 point2 points3 points 3 months ago
The opening scenes from Supernatural are some of the most ridiculously brutal TV deaths that exist I'm pretty sure. God damn horrifying.
[–]Henipah 4 points5 points6 points 3 months ago
But if it's CSI you might get lucky and just find a body...
[–]draughtpunk 6 points7 points8 points 3 months ago
Better the opening scene on House than Six Feet Under
[–]macsr4idiots 10 points11 points12 points 3 months ago
After 8 seasons of House I'VE learned ... its never sarcoidosis, but they always think it is.
[–]KillJesusSmokeMeth 9 points10 points11 points 3 months ago
After almost 5 full seasons, it was FINALLY Sarcoidosis in episode 22 of Season 5. It's only shown up once just like Lupus even though they talk about them both constantly.
[–]Ahrounmoon 9 points10 points11 points 3 months ago
It took you 8 seasons to learn this?

Every minute of your life is like the first three minutes of Law and Order: SVU
[–]Illuria 2 points3 points4 points 3 months ago
There's a British series called Casualty (that is the world's longest running medical drama) that has a very similar intro. My family and I tend to have a competition to see who can guess the injury that is going to befall the person in question first.
[–]TedFuckingBeneke 1 point2 points3 points 3 months ago
"What's that? A fuse has blown? Let me reach the fusebox using this implausibly rickety stool and substitute the fuse for a nail because I can't find a replacement, while also holding my infant son. Also, there's a leak and there's water everywhere. And poison."
[–]swiley1983 3 points4 points5 points 3 months ago
So, the medical drama equivalent of red shirts?
[–]Churn 3 points4 points5 points 3 months ago
red shirts and kenny.
[–]masterfain 3 points4 points5 points 3 months ago
I was actually in an opening scene of house (season 7) and I ended up being ok. Although I did help poison someone later in the episode....
[–]MinecraftHardon 2 points3 points4 points 3 months ago
This also holds true for Law and Order SVU.
[–]OxfordComma1019 2 points3 points4 points 3 months ago
Also, if you appear to be in a happy relationship, you're gonna have a bad time/be given incurable herpes by your partner.

If Foreman think you're going to be okay, you're going to have a bad time.
[–]Sandite5 4 points5 points6 points 3 months ago
Took you 8 seasons...
As Dr. House would say, "You're a moron!"
[–]sherlocksd 3 points4 points5 points 3 months ago
For those who haven't seen House, all 8 seasons. Whoever is in the opening scene of House gets sick. Fifteen minutes into the show after commercials they try to get admitted, House says something smartass then the patient says something weird and House accepts them. Thirty minutes into it House thinks he has a cure, everyone argues that could kill them, House tries it anyway. Thirty-five minutes into the show, House almost kills them. Forty minutes into the show they all argue again about the diagnosis, House says something smartass, again. Forty-five minutes into the show someone says something arbitrary, House has a "got it!" moment, argues with everyone, again, says something smartass. Fifty-five minutes into it the cure works, patient leaves, House talks with his friend or sits alone in his office. Cue music and drug use(sometimes)
[–]NotVerySmarts 1 point2 points3 points 3 months ago
I stopped watching house after they killed John Cho.
[–]jcwitte 1 point2 points3 points 3 months ago
It took you 8 seasons to figure that out?

[–]jeremywise1313 3 points4 points5 points 3 months ago
Can someone explain to me if this show is exactly what I think it is? Every episode begins with a crazy illness, 40 minutes of "it cant be this, it CANT be this!...it's THIS!....oh god, no it isnt!!", and then a "This is a long shot I've made based on an observation from 1989 while I traveled in Greece. It's only happened 3 times in history, and every time the patient has DIED. Let's go for it"....and it works? Not downing the show, I've seen almost all of a few episodes, and this is what I took away from it.
[–]Churn 14 points15 points16 points 3 months ago
No, you've completely missed what the show is about. It's not about the sick person or the diagnosis at all. It's about the interactions between House and his staff. Having someone's life hang in the balance each episode just provides a back drop for conflict in a life or death situation.
[–]2006 Time Person of the YearPanguin 11 points12 points13 points 3 months ago
It's called a procedural drama. Things happen the same way in every episode. Some people, myself included, really like that type of show for whatever reason. It is also known as a "Monster-of-the-week". See also: Law & Order (any), CSI (any), Murder She Wrote, etc.
[–]wolfc86[] 5 points6 points7 points 3 months ago
I mean it sort of makes sense to be procedural. It's a show about diagnosing unique medical problems. If not the beginning of the episode, when are they supposed to introduce you to the patient? At the end? Of course it's at the beginning.
THIS. I don't know why House's formulaic structure bothers so many people and yet other proceedural shows (read: pretty much any cop show) don't. You can boil any tv show down to a formula like that; that's just how TV shows work.
[–]Battlesheep 4 points5 points6 points 3 months ago*
Well, not always, usually it turns out to be something that most real life doctors would have already figured out in like 5 minutes, but it takes House the entire episode. Other than that, pretty much.
[–]nmork 4 points5 points6 points 3 months ago
House: takes 60 minutes to figure out what any other doctor could have in 5. OP: Takes 8 seasons to figure out what anyone else could have in 1.
House: takes 60 minutes to figure out what any other doctor could have in 5.

Coincidence?

except this one time...
[–]zeddies21 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
House and every version of every type of CSI show.
[–]gothewholehog 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Also, its NEVER lupus.
[–]pregnantandsober 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Yes, this happens in any procedural drama.
[–]Surfacetovolume 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Never, ever pull back the sheet.
[–]CatoftheCanal 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Not this girl
[–]pickleskid26 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Haha it took you EIGHT seasons to figure this out?! :P Plus this actor is usually a really good B-list actor whose name is at the tip of your tongue. I remember seeing Robin Tunney in Season 1 of House - and she went on to be Lisbon in The Mentalist!
[–]kazkeb 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
same goes for Fringe
[–]solsire 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
That once they started shocking a flatline, they'll keep on doing it no matter what.
[–]EhOhhEss 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
MadTV did a pretty funny skit
[–]Buhdahl 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Same thing with Fringe, although Fringe is usually a tad messier.
[–]TruthElephant 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
It took you 8 seasons? That show is as formulaic as Power Rangers.
[–]ozonar 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Я выучил русский язык
[–]Ashton42 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
House, Bones, any crime show, but ESPECIALLY Six Feet Under. ;)
[–]tyyson 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
you needed 8 seasons to figure this out?
[–]JJ_McQuade 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Six Feet Under...same rule applies
[–]deadwisdom 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Have you ever noticed that the openings of Bones and House are exactly the same? Only at the end do they diverge where someone falls over (House) or finds a corpse (Bones).
[–]mistercompony 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Same with every show in that genre
[–]alechungry 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
This is especially true when the episode opening features House.
[–]Hipsterista 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
It took you 8 seasons? Wow you're slow.
[–]ram0889 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
TIL that this is the last season of House :(
[–]FreedObject 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
If you think the patient has lupus...
You're gonna have a bad time
[–]hopscotchking 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
It's like Six Feet Under. Oh man! Who's gonna get it?!
[–]cam513 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
House is off-the-chart make believe. You'll never get a bunch of doctors administering treatments. Nurses do that. Just like in Law and Order, the defendant takes the witness stand....Yeah right. That's the only way they can get a guilty verdict in most of the cases. Still I watch House constantly...Makes me laugh.
[–]nopasanada7 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Similarly, I've learned: http://i.imgur.com/eUEMu.jpg
[–]dudemann 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
The episodes that started with House or one of House's team member always kind of disappointed me... there was no guessing game. They'd walk in and Cuddy or someone would throw them a case and it's like "well yea, that was too damn easy."
[–]kinkosmyers 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Anyone have a link to what trope this is?
[–]telefreak 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
if you're watching house; you're gonna have a bad time
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
I've learned that if you're the one initially not feeling well. The person who seems perfectly fine is the one who has more than a cold.
[–]changone 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
You will have an even worse time if you are a woman.
[–]My_Default_Was_Taken 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Same applies to Scooby-Doo.
[–]patsfan94 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
If you think that it's Lupus you're gonna have a bad time
[–]iiTsukuyomi 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
lol that is so true now that you mention it :)
[–]thebattlefish 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
It's not lupus.
[–]brattonWVU 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
After 8 seasons of House, I've learned crap gets real right before a commercial.
[–]Ultraseamus 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Unless you're the guy who looks like he is going to have a bad time. Then you'll probably be fine.
[–]GraceFace04 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
A truer story could not be told.
[–]ThufirrHawat 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Try being in the opening scene of Six Feet Under....
[–]tonsofsexy 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
This also applies to ANY crime show.
[–]anonmou5e 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
[–]Haliax 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
It took you eight seasons to get that...
[–]Your_Fly_Is_Open 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Took you 8 seasons to figure that out?
[–]breakwater 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
More like:
If you think you are going to be cured by the first 6 attempts at treatment
You are going to have a bad time.
[–]MidgetFetish 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
It took you eight seasons? Wear a helmet much?
[–]foxnesn 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
The first 5 seasons were dynamite.
[–]Ks4snow 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
And at one point you will be treated for lupus
[–]sgrrsh26 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Well I learned how to say "Kyle's mom in a bitch" in multiple languages.
[–]noagendaproducer 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
I think that is the case for most tv shows these days. Especially the crime dramas.
[–]Artem_C 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
When you think they got it right the first time.
You're gonna have a bad time.
[–]Melkath 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
The other things you should know by now. Everyone lies and its not lupus.
[–]Droidiq 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Haha it took you long.
[–]silenc3x 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Fringe is the same way... if you're in the opening scene, you're gonna die a ridiculously weird death.
[–]NorthernWV 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
If you're having a random conversation about something that doesn't have anything to do with the plot line of the show. You're gonna have an epiphany.
[–]Dr0wn 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
You've watched 8 seasons of House, and you only started noticing this now?
[–]hypnosthetic 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Also it's never Lupus...
[–]IronGranny 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
I just now realized that there's an alien in the background of this meme
[–]qixe 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Maybe ill go watch some house so that I can appreciate this
[–]BlueThundah 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
it seriously took you eight fucking seasons to realize this
[–]cabface 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
I feel like this could also apply to a number of other shows. Particularly Law and Order: SVU and Fringe.
[–]mrfloopa 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Well that only took 100+ episodes. =D
[–]Trantor_I 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
That's true of Fringe as well. Not just a bad time, but a gruesome bad time.
[–]Alphonse1596 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
i think people in the opening scenes of Fringe have a way worse time.
Edit: example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGKjfxgHFwg
[–]burn_bridges 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Aliens!
[–]chuckles2011 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
Also, it's never Lupus. Unless it's Lupus.
[–]AwesomeAtheist_17 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
I spy an alien :)
[–]pyramidhead23 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
If you're in the opening scenes of six feet under, You're gonna have a worse time.
[–]wedge9 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
OTOH, if you're the first person on-screen in Law & Order, you're usually OK -- you find the body, you tell the stars "we just found him like this," and your part in the show is done.
[–]Goranora 0 points1 point2 points 3 months ago
I take it you haven't seen supernatural?
all it takes is a username and password
create account
is it really that easy? only one way to find out...
already have an account and just want to login?
