I love Gaki no Tsukai! This is from the No Laughing series that they do every New Year. This I believe is what people are more familiar with I believe. OPs link is from the 2012 Edition were they are at an Airport . This is one of the most entertaining shows I watch so give it a shot.

This is actually pretty tame for the Japanese game shows shots that get spread around.

Besides, It's a game show. Fear Factor makes people do shit WAY dumber than this, and I've never seen it make WTF. This guy is probably attempting to eat pasta in a dryer for monetary gain, or some kind of reward. That's not disturbing in the slightest. If you could prove that he did it because it's part of his religion, or a fetish he's into, that would be pretty WTF.

Alas, I know we all have our own definitions of WTF, and this doesn't disobey any of the rules on the side bar. I should have just given my downvote and moved on.

For my sake though, I beseech you, in future please remember that when posting to /r/wtf you're posting to a subreddit about shocking/disgusting stuff, and everyone on the subreddit is from the internet. You're going to have to come up with something pretty intense to impress most of us.

This is one of the better shows in Japan, called "Waratte wa ikenai" or 'No laughing'. They get a bunch of comedians to go around on a slap-stick filled day of scripted gags and situations. If the comedians laugh a gang of ninjas comes out with black rubber bats spanks the offenders.
