In defense of girlfriends that study abroad while their boyfriends are stuck at home, I've been studying abroad this semester and I haven't done anything that could be considered cheating, nor do I have any plans to.

even if the most hedonistic part of my brain tries to rationalize any form of overstepping boundaries with other guys, it's never enough to risk my relationship. So maybe it's not so comforting to hear your girlfriend may have briefly considered cheating on you, but it should be encouraging to know that a lot of us value their boyfriend's trust much more. We're looking forward to the same reaction when we come home too!
